日本で1番古いリゾートホテルだけあって館内を探索する価値が大いにあった。 せっかくのホテルが、外を見るとがっかりしてしまう。

Charmantes Hotel im Grünen, an Top-Lage unmittelbar bei den grössten Tempelanlagen von Nikko. Die Angestellten machen das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Äussere des Hotels mehr als wett.

Excellent location just a short walking distance from main Nikko shrine area. This historic hotel has an old-world charm, with excellent service from all staff, including check-in, restaurant and concierge staff. Our twin room, in the main building overlooking entry driveway looks recently renovated and was very large and comfortable. We ate one night at hotel restaurant and other night at Steakhouse just a short walk from hotel - both had great food, and around same price. Some parts of hotel in corridors and exterior are looking a little worn and in need of painting and a freshen-up, but this did not detract from our stay.Some guests may expect a little more luxury for this price range.

全てにおいて、一流のもてなしを受けたという印象です。 ダイニングのレベルも高く、日本を代表するホテルだと思いました。 値段は決して安くないですが、相応の満足感は得られます。

歴史を垣間見る。清潔感がある。 食事中の対応が悪い。隣のフルコースの客にはもちろんスタッフはべったり対応。食事の量は、ほどほどに負け- ないオーダーしていたのだが、食べ終えた食器をサインを出していたのだが、下げに来ない。テーブルの上は、- 食べ終えた皿で食べにくく、名高い名門ホテルなのに、何故？普通のレストランでもお客をきちんと対応してく- れている。食事料金も高く設定しているのに。コロッケも美味しくなかった。インターネットの口コミでも同じ- 事を書いている方がいた。素晴らしい歴史と実績があるのに残念。宇都宮の友人からも良いホテルと聞いていた- が。
