Close to train Station ans Main Temple inNikko; se aère on top flood ans had à good view of the mountains; it was quiet. Even though it mentioned Wi-fi in rooms and we went down to get Password It nEVER worked; they did,not seemed aware we were coming...we had to pay for a locker because nobody was there before 3pm and there was nobody the next morning when we wanted to check- out at 8am.

Second storie of a residential house: has a good common area and kitchen. Utilities are OK. There is a very good groceries outlet just a 5 minute walk from the hotel that offers cooked meals as well , so you may indeed use the kitchen. Plus has an in-house Shinto shrine, which is quite exotic. I do not know, maybe this is normal, but it got extremely cold inside the house in the evening. Well, the electric matress they have for each bed did indeed help. The place is really small and if the place gets full of occupants it may be too crowded. The bunk beds are metal and creaky.

We actually stayed at Nikko Park Lodge Mountain Side. Great place. Well worth the small amount of time to get to and from to downtown. The owner was awesome. He gave us a ride to and from town a few times because he was headed there himself. He also recommended a few things to do that werent in the guidebook. Told us about each of the temples and dropped us off there. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is very good, close to the train station and the bus stops to the main attractions in Nikko. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable (the electric blanket makes lots of different in the cold!). Very value for money.

Locatie is prima.

A éviter absolument !!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Their cafe makes a great curry! Located right across from the Tobu station right in Nikko. We had a comfortable bed and pillows. There was a small TV. Although staff are nice they do seem to lack attention to detail such as lot of dust under beds, 3 light bulbs were blown, food scraps still in the kitchen sink filter and bought 3 items from little snack bar for the trip home, all had expired by at least one month, watch out for that. Overall it was good enough for the price so can't complain. Like I said just need more attention to detail.
