Score from 99 reviews Very good
It's just outside nikko station. Equipped with all the necessary Very friendly staff providing any information you need.
Check out time is too early.
It is just a stone throw from the tobu train station and just infront of JR station. The bus stop going to the different sites is just a few minutes walk. Near restos and shops. And there is an onsen inside the hotel!
Good location and meals
pricy dinner buffet and check out time is 10:00 am
Onsen, staff and location

Only expensive buffet breakfast available No WiFi
Very close (100m) from JR Nikko station. Very friendly staff. New, clean hotel, furnished in very nice design. Breakfast in japanese and western style. Very good location, 20 minutes walk to Nikko shrine and temples. Onsen (hot springs) in hotel. Wifi in rooms
Not about the hotel, just short experience from Nikko area - most of the restaurants were closed after 8 pm, so don´t be late with your dinner :-)
Clean hotel with hot bath- woman/man separated.Great breakfast buffet, two dinning options/restaurants directly in the hotel. Very convenience location, walking in city, dining/cafe/variety of shops just few minutes walking distance. Aprox. 30 minutes walk to Unesco World Heritage. Easy access to public transportation if you want to explore more of Nikko area.
The hotel is right across from the JR Station; rooms are spacious.
Location and price
Close to station, newly renovated rooms, free wifi in the room, very helpful and cheerful staff. Room was bigger than expected. When leaving we forgot our laptop charger, but the hotel staff send it via post to us in Tokyo! Free parking.
Prices are high for what you get, especially during weekend days. This seems to be a general thing for the majority of the hotels in Nikko area. Among all the others, Nikko Station hotel is one of the better. Expensive breakfast, but good bakery next door. Although there are loads of tourists during the day, Nikko town is rather dead during the night, which is of course not the hotel's fault.
Good food Fair service Close to the station Foreigner friendly (English friendly)
Far from the shrines ( I noticed hotels that were much closer ) I expected more for the price.
- cleanliness - comfort - friendly staff - location
- smell of burnt oil and food in the lobby and restaurant
Rooms were not large, but adequate. Enjoyed a relaxing Onsen spa here after a long walk. Breakfast was good, and the staff very attentive. Very close to the two local rail stations, and bus servic.
The dinners, the curry my wife had consisted of thick gravy with 5/6 smallish pieces of meat, a very poor offering. My traditional Japanese meal was also VERY average, and not cheap. The best dish we saw was the steak, it looked great, just a bit miffed we did not order it ... we ordered a pizza, as an extra dish, just to complete our meal with something decent, choose with care from their menu!!.
Menu at restaurant was limited.
Spotlessly clean with super Onsen facility. Great breakfast with nice choice
Would have liked a bigger room with king- size bed
Spacious room with understated elegance, excellent breakfast buffet, super-easy to find as located right across from railway station
It's not a biggie, but the towels were very thin and quite old looking. Also, face cloths would have been handy.
The onsen was great
The room was super small and just bare bones.
Nice hotel close to the railwaystation and the bus to Nikko world heritage. The room was clean and had english speaking personell in the lobby. The breakfast was both Japanese and western style.
The hotel is just in front of the Nikkon statin. Great location. Nice staffs help us store our luggage for two days before our stay.
The price is higher than its value.
Room good size for Japan Baths (Onsen) very nice especially outdoors
Only one person could go on wifi at a time in room. No public soace wifi No flexibility on check in time but they did store bag Only drip coffe included in Breakfast.
The location was great close to the train station and the local buses to all the sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was confortable and clean.
The breakfast was very expensive.
Heavy bedding, air con not adjustable.
