In central Shinjuku just steps from subways and a quarter mile from JR Shinjuku Train Station, Hotel Sunroute Plaza features rooms with satellite TV and free wired internet.
Score from 1156 reviews Very good
Located a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Nishiguchi subway station or a 5-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Train Station’s west exit, the Hotel MyStays has free Wi-Fi in the lobby and free wired internet,...

Score from 667 reviews Good
The hotel is located in a quiet location, so you would have a rather noiseless sleep.
First of all, no bed side table which is the first hotel I've encountered. Tea bags have to get from front desk except green tea, no coffee, imagine after a lon day you just get back into your room or just wake up but have have to drag yourself to the lobby. Of course, you can say you can ask them to bring them to your room, didn't bother. You also have to "buy" adapter. Don't think the price of the hotel is justified.
In a quite area in Shinjuku, very close from subway, JR line (5-10min walking) and restaurants. Efficient staff and very good café in the hotel.
There is no onsen in the hotel, and no fitting room.
Location( near to subway )
When i ask for an adaptor for japanase plug they said that i have to pay 600¥.
Good location very close to subway station, comfortable to minimart,Family mart,7-11. Very good service from front hotel reception.
Little bit noisy from road when open window for fresh air required in bed time.
The size of the room and the lack of modern facilities in the room such as converters.
Location was good, close to metro and Shinjuku station, 7 Eleven shop, other shops, coffee bar, the busy area of West Shinjuku, the nice shops in Shinjuku East. Safe area. I had a quiet stay. Very quick check-out, drop box for key, luggage storage when you still want to go around after check-out, friendly staff, lovely breakfast in the coffee shop, 100 Yen shop next door (great shopping) and easy to go around in the area. I have read many other reviews and I can agree with many of them, but still I think this is a good Japanese hotel compared to others (and I have stayed in many in the past years)
Bed was maybe quite firm, but despite that, I slept well, the room was not very big, but served its purpose. Improvement always possible - for example 10h00 a.m. check-out is for me too early- but for me all over a great stay.
Situated very god to station Shinjuku only 5-7 min. walk Rooms nice and clean Friendly personal Price good
Missed a international TV channel And also a small pub.
small room and bathroom
The location was excellent. Near Shinjuku train station. Loads of shops, restaurants and bus terminal. Hotel staff very friendly. Nice coffee shop located in lobby..Opens at 7am
Really the only problem I had was the lack of English spoken by the hotel staff. Bed was a little too hard for me but after a few nights I got used to it.
-Quiet side of Shijuku -7 mins walk from Shinjuku Station
wifi works intermittently, maybe my room is not near the hotspot
Very good location. I have visited this hotel twice. Very near to the metro station and also to the Shinjuku neighborhood. The staff very helpful and kind.
Great location Friendly staff Good coffee at the cafe Reasonably priced Clean rooms
Hardest bed in the universe Hard to find from Shinjuku station Check out time at 10:00am
Good location. Extremely expensive for the size of room.
It is easy to find and in a good location for the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Take a cab from Shinjuku main station if you don't want to carry your luggage up steps!
For two people (especially North Americans !) the rooms are tight!
Good value for money
Within walking distance to the main shopping areas in shinjuku!
Room is quite tight for a couple. Not much walking space in the room with luggages.
Close to Shinjuku Station, restaurants, shopping. Lovely and clean with good facilities and a great price for Tokyo accommodation.
Hotel name was written in Japanese on the large hotel sign and in English on a smaller plaque by the front door making it a little difficult to find.
Proximity to the Shinjuku nightlife, room was quiet, WiFi just worked, front desk folks were extremely attentive when I approached.
The only thing that could have been better was that the bed was really quite firm. A bit too firm. I did however mostly get a reasaonble night's rest on it.
Quick check in and check out......helpfull staff...very clean rooms....convenience stores and rail station close by.....
5 min walk from Shinjuku area and station, just brilliant as any day trip depart from Shinjuku Great staff (as anywhere in Japan to be honest...)
Room was ridiculously tiny. We spent 5 nights and had to leave our stuff in the suitcase, on the chair and on the 3 hangers.... no wardrobe, our suitcases were in the middle of the 9sq meter room....
Great staff Great service Great location Affordable rates
Noise from neighbouring room noticeable
The front desk staff spoke good English, and they were friendly too.
Navigating within Shinjuku station was hard already, and I didn't have an easy time finding the hotel from the station.
