Located a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Nishiguchi subway station or a 5-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Train Station’s west exit, the Hotel MyStays has free Wi-Fi in the lobby and free wired internet,...
Score from 749 reviews Good
A full-service hotel with all basic amenities covered. Good WiFi signal in hotel room. 5 min walk to Kabukicho, 7 min walk to the west gate of Shinjuku station. The surrounding area is not too noisy, and convenient shops abound. There's a bakery cafe on the ground floor which serves delicious crossaints and desserts.
The complaints about the beds are true: they are on the hard side. Personally it was not a problem as I'm used to sleeping on hard mattresses.
Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Though the room is small, it's larger than I expected, and had everything I needed. Staff were nice.
It would be better if some restaurant staff could understand English.
Nice staff, clean room, small room as expected so not disappoint, great location 2mins walk from metro station, ard 10mins walk from JR station.
Quiet room, helpful staff, excellent location
Small room, but great heart from staffs as well as check out management. You just drop you key card and then go, and staffs still giving you a smiling farewell and keep attention till last step out to the hotel
Convenient location and Coffee shop.
Room was tiny and I could bear that but the bed and pillows were so hard I have slept on floors that had more give in them. Need was also up against a wall. I don't believe I got the room I saw and booked on the Internet. It certainly wasn't worth $135/night.
Clean, good service
If possible can fix a air condition to made it more conford
We used to stay at Tokyo Hilton just a block away, till we found this gem and have bee staying here regularly on our frequent visits to Tokyo since then. It's a no-frill/clean/comfortable hotel in the heart of Shinjuku that offers value for the money.
The rooms are small, and there is no view, but we hardly spend time in the room, except to sleep.
Near by metro and convenience to go shopping. Nice staff & hotel provide amenities covered all what I need
The room a bit too small
Quite near a few stations, with the main Shinjuku station abt 10 minutes away.
Wifi accessibility could be improved upon though.
location Staff Value for money
the room is quite small for 2 persons, but it's Tokyo
2mins from Tokyo Metro station and surrounded by convenience store.
Room quite small for 2 people with luggages.
Tidy, good sized rooms. Close to Shinjuku train station.
Unable to part pay room cost with cash which was annoying as we stayed here on our last night.
Bed, bathroom, cleanliness
Staff and price are good. The location is closed to Shinjuku Station (JR), however if you carry with heavy luggage, it may not so good as it needs to cross the bridge. By the way, if you need to catch Narita Express to airport, please reserve more time as the ticket office and the platform is located opposite side of Shinjuku Station.
Price for the location
Fantastic hotel in a great convenient location. Very clean and very friendly staff. Customer service is excellent. Will stay again.
Rooms were a bit small but expect that for Tokyo. Otherwise, faultless.
Great location. Clean room.
The internet connection was terrible
Too small room compare to room rate
-24-hr convenient store is nearby. -The room is tidy.
-Far from JR shinjuku station. -The staff were not friendly.
Location, staff very helpful and responsive. Rooms are bigger than usual Japanese standard. Hotel seems to be brand new or renovated.
This is my second time staying in this hotel, and I gotta say, I really like staying here. This has now been my default hotel every time I'm in Tokyo. For an affordable price, you get a nice location (near numerous convenience stores and many train stations, including the major train station, Shinjuku), comfortable beds, and great service. I especially like the small things: 4 tea bags in the room when most budget hotels in Japan only give one, the fact that they still leave you new towels by your door when you put "do not disturb" on your room, electric sockets near the bed, anti-fog mirror in the bathroom, and having three elevators--no wait time.
The street outside gets noisy sometimes, especially at night, because it is near a police station (you'll hear police sirens). The check in is also really late--3PM! Most budget hotels have a 2pm check-in time at the most.
The best thing about this hotel is the location, which is very close to Shinjuku station.
The bed was quite hard.
good overall quality at a good location with helpful staff
