Location was key, downtown shopping district of Shinjuku. Rooms were very clean and sat. Staff was very helpfull dispite the language barrer.

Beds were too firm and the lack of inn facilites ex: gym, pool. But over all good stay.

Great location, room clean, very cheap price.

The room was a bit small, but it was enough for a single person.

Overall there was nothing bad. Tokyo is expensive so I choosed this hotel as it is well located and not too expensive. It is not close to the highway so less noisy than other places.

Th hotel is 2 minutes by walk from a metro station, so it's a basic thing in Tokyo, staff kind, room simple but clean and brand new

Just a little small the room

West Shinjuku is a very good location at the heart of the central business district with skyscrapers and great selection of excellent food in their basement. A very safe and relatively quiet strip of Shinjuku. Shinjuku itself offers endless shopping malls, shops and lively streets. To get out, 1 subway stop or 10 minutes walk to the gigantic Shinjuku JR Station plus bus terminal will take you everywhere. The hotel itself offers English-speaking staffs and very responsive in replying emails. The rooms are spotlessly clean, fairly sized (Tokyo-wise), excellent noise isolation, and very reliable wifi. Although our plan do not come with breakfast, there is a cafeteria inside the lobby and loads of convenient stores nearby. It also features a car park which is very reasonably priced. Free tea bags (Liptons) of dozens favour offered at the reception as well.

Nothing for us. For hard-core shoppers however, East Shinjuku will be closer to shops and malls.

It's easy to find it from the station and it's close to many points of interest. The staff had a very good English and they were helpful. Mc Donald's is just in front of it.

At the heart of Nishi-shinjuku downtown Tokyo. Helpful friendly staff.

Lacking on the hotel faculties-gym, pool, store exct. No irons or ironing boards standard with rooms (they do have then just need to as front desk).

+ Friendly English-speaking staff + 1 minute to nearest metro station + Croissant cafe in the lobby + Possibility to keep luggage at the hotel before check-in/after check-out for free while going for a walk I booked a room for two days in this hotel mostly because of the price and location - the business trip was over, so I had to pay my own money for these remaining days. I only spent nigths there.

    - Check-out by 10 am. I'd prefer 12 pm. - Mattress is really hard; difficult to sleep - Noise from the other rooms/corridor can be heard easily

Reception staff welcome and help : The staff offer you special tea bags before to reach the room. Directly bring an umbrella when it's raining.

Some parts of the bathroom has to be cleaned more deeper.

Nice and close to everything. I had to rush out during my check-in morning and despite being super stressed and the service representative not understanding anything I said (probably the only staff member with difficulty speaking English), he quickly checked me out and held my luggage for me. Really appreciated it!

The only impressive thing in Hotel Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku is the entrance hall. Everything else is awful.

All is full of "NOT" advices: - not breakfast included. - not onsen or sauna or gym (like other hotels in Tokyo offer for the same price). - not a big luxury room like in their pictures (they gave us a small one with a little bathroom, like in a plane). - not international plug adaptator to recharge the battery of your camera or telephone. - not good wi-fi in the room. - not cleaning your glasses, cups of tea or teapot. - not room service at all. - not telephone calls from the room. - and so on... Always NOT, NOT, NOT. Then, I can NOT recommend it at all. Next time, I'll choose a better place to stay in Tokio. For sure!!

Very helpful and polite staff who all speak fairly decent English. Great location within a short walk from Shinjuku station. Very clean and fresh for the most part. Overall an excellent experience.

On site laundry was average. No washing powder was available even to purchase, whereas most other hotels have this for free! Very minor complaint.
