Convenient, 3 minutes walk from JR line Suidobashi station. Friendly staff, wonderful and comfortable room. Perfect for our mother-daughter holiday in Tokyo!
Nothing not to like
Having to leave
Close to train station
Loved the room, it was comfortable clean and calming in its decor. Also enjoyed the Refresh room with the massage chairs after a long day of walking.
No coffee in the room. However, Blendy sticks gotten at the local store compensated.
The staff were superb and extremely helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Suidobashi was a few mins walk away with speedy connections all over Tokyo.
The room was a little on the small side, but was very comfortable.
Modern hotel with lovely furnishings. Staff very helpful and very pleasant. Good location. Highly recommended .
Standard room was very nice but a big small. Next time we would opt for a larger room.
I loved the outside of the refresh lounge. It was very relaxing and the hotel growing oranges was awesome!
I disliked that the rooms were a bit small, but I assumed that it was a standard in Japan
The hotel looked really simple yet elegant. Hotel conveniently situated near train station, very much walkable even if you're tired from all day shopping. 3 different convenient stores near the hotel. And several affordable restos and cafes nearby.
Internet was really slow and most of the time intermittent. Cable channels are VERY VERY limited to japanese shows I don't understand. No HBO, Star Movies or any movie channels. Only english channel is Discovery and CNN. Room is quite small. Good for one person, and can really be tight for two. Almost no space if you open your luggage/s.
Excellent hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location with loads of wonderful places to eat nearby. Staff were extremely helpful and always willing to assist. Would definately stay back here again.
Nice 4 star hotel
Missing good dinner place around
Location is not too near nor too far from the great places to go to in tokyo. the hotel is 5 minutes from the subway station. lots of restaurants and supermarkets in the area. the hotel staff is so courteous, helpful and respectful. The room though a bit small has all the essential necessities, from the daily pajamas laid out for us, to the heated bathroom seats and bidet. The room is so simple but after a while of stay, you will realize that the layout is so well thought of for the convenience and relaxation of the guests. Just appreciate the small things such as the way the wires were laid out and hidden under the tv area, the fact that I can keep my laptop while being charged inside the safe; portion of the bathroom mirror is heated thus, it stays clear from the fog of the hot shower. Breakfast buffet selection is great! Will recommend this hotel anytime!
closeness to tokyo station (easy access to any part of Tokyo) funky surroundings & hotel is new / fresh and well maintained front desk personnel are extremely helpful
nothing to comment on here...
Good position, clean place and very courteous staff.
Hotel staff at breakfast is sometimes too hasty to send the guests away if they slightly overstay the given time to have the meal.
The staff's English are really really impressive : )
I like the design and tone color of the hotel. It was warm and homy
I didn't like the size of standard room, it was too small.
The French cuisine for New Year's dinner was excellent and the service matched it.
1. Getting access to the internet took a very long time and we repeatedly told it would take 30 minutes to connect but did not happen. 2. The cost of the room per night was very high ($930 for 2 nights) for what was provided. 3. Breakfast should have been increased till 10.30. No provision was made that there would be increased congestion during New Year. We were asked to wait twice for breakfast. The second time for almost an hour. At the very least extra chairs should be made available for guests to sit in the lobby while waiting. Elderly people and people with a heart condition like myself were particularly comprised.
Front Desk, Restaurant, and House Keeping Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.
Location and size are not optimal for business. However, for leisure travel they are fine unless you face time constraints.
Great combination of smaller size and high quality, stylish-yet-traditional feel. Fine location, nice neighborhood, good access to transportation. Excellent breakfast offerings and service.
Room somewhat small, no shelves or drawers - had to "live out of suitcase", not in keeping with this high-design hotel.
Stayed with a group of 8 from 17-50 yrs of age and we all loved it. The hotel is modern yet incorporates traditional Japanese touches. It was clean, safe and close to trains, Tokyo Dome with it's shops and restaurants and other places like McDonalds and the Don Quixote store which has everything you need including food, alcohol and crazy Japanese souvenirs. Could not recommend highly enough. You will love the Niwa!
Beautiful hotel, brand new equipments, very clean, modern. The staff is the front desk is extremely nice, polite and very professional. I have personally never seen staff being so nice and courteous. The hotel lobby is beautiful as well.
Mmm... I really can't think of something I didn't like. This hotel is almost perfect.
Good location - fairly close to Tokyo station and walking distance to two metro stations which offers easy access to all the tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity and convenience store is just next door. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful and warm.
The room (and bed) is a tad bit small for us as we were travelling with a lot of luggages. But it's the cheapest of all rooms since others were sold out so it's not really anyone's fault after all it's Tokyo. Recommend to get bigger room if available.
Staff really friendly Bedroom although a bit small was really comfortable and seemed renovated Good value
Internet access is horrible The cleanliness would be really good if not for one day they refresh the towels for a strained one
1. Facilities are new and good; 2. Staff are fluent in English; 3. room is clean and comfortable; 4. Very quiet.
Location: Hotel is 5min walk from the nearest Metro station, and it will take some time if you want to go to some popular tourism sites
Overpriced, and room is too small compared to other hotels Understaffed, no one to help me carry my luggages to the room.
