Nice hotel and very clean and tidy and nice style, as some wrote a bit older but still very nice. The private onsen is renovated and was very nice aswell as the public onsen. The service was very nice and you could choose between two breakfasts and if this would be sent to your room or be eaten in the dining area. Prebookable free shuttle to the train station, which was very convenient to use. The hotel is in the outskirts of Matsumoto and just next to a forest and small mountain for those who like to take a run or hike there. Cute shop and bakery located nearby as some nice restaurants.

It is a 10-minute drive from Matsumoto Castle and has Japanese-style rooms with a private bathroom. Yukata robes and slippers are provided in each traditionally styled room, and guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding atop a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, an electric kettle with green tea and toothbrushes. The hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Matsumoto Train Station. The Matsumoto City Museum of Art and the Kaichi School Museum are both about a 12-minute drive. On-site parking is free. An indoor hot-spring bath can be used privately for an extra charge, but must be reserved in advance. Bicycles can be rented, and there is a souvenir shop with unique local items. A free-use massage chair can be enjoyed after soaking in the shared hot-spring bath.
