it is 5 min walk to a train station which has direct trains to Kansai airport. 1 hour trip.
The room was clean and the bed was confortable enough for one night. Apart from that you feel like you were 20 years back and has a cigarette smell. It was the most expensive hotel of my staying in Japan and also the worst of all. It is a rip off for what you get.
The view from the hotel and the cleanliness
The lack of English language
No AC during cold weather
Directions from train Bentencho station were not clear.
-In between two major railways -Direct access to Kansai Airport -Tempur bed and pillows
-No complimentary breakfast -Some frontline staff don't speak english
Very close to the metro station, amazing facilities include restaurants and bars, marvellous view.
Not everybody speak english.
This is a fantastic hotel. The room was spacious, super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had a stunning view of Osaka Bay. The staff were lovely.
Room service food wasn't great.
It did have wifi
Where to begin? We had asked for a non-smoking room and were actually put into a room that had been supposedly 'converted' to a non- smoking room. The room of course still stank of smoke and both myself and my roommate had immediate reactions (headaches, breathing issues). I went downstairs and had to spend 20 minutes arguing with various staff members to be moved to a non-smoking room, because they tried to tell me that they had apparently made it non-smoking by taking out the ashtrays and spraying it with air freshener. This is not the level of service that we normally receive in Japan. The hotel is old and shabby and the room was tiny and cramped and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Our air-conditioning was awful and didn't work properly- and Osaka is hot and humid! God help you if you stay there in summer! I have never been so glad to only be spending 2 nights somewhere in all my life. An additional note- while it is close to the train station it is incredibly difficult to find the exit to get there- you actually need to go out of the station and through the underground tunnel and then you pop out on the correct side. You can get there from an elevated walkway, but only from the metro level/exit.
The Hotel is directly connected with the Chuo Line subway so easy to go to the city-center in 15 min. Nice room with all the comfort.
Too bad that there is no staff member speaking English!! I especially asked to get the room at 9 a.m. when I booked but the room was not ready until 2 p.m.
There are no bellboys to carry your bags or to bring anything to your room. Room was very dirty and old. Staff were the least helpful, was very expensive for a hotel that gave comfort level of a hostel.
1- there is metro station in the 2nd floolr 2- very close to universal studios and OSAKA Bay 3- the view from the hotel is amazing
1- the room is very small (as many of Japanese hotels)
I only stayed one night but I was very pleased with everything. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was a decent size and had a great view. Price was not bad. Since its connected to the Bentencho JR train station I was able to take the rapid service train straight there from the airport (around 1 hour).
Very nice hotel and good location near to JR train station and best for get away from busiest cities.
With the price i had, the bed was not very comfy, I think we just pay for being staying on tall building and view only. Very small bed and expensive.
location is great, near to nanbo and aquarium, and very convenient to go to universal city. And staffs are kind and helpful, all can communicate in English
You can hear the next room's noise
Good view, good location, near subway station, reasonably priced
The panoramic view is unique at the 50 floor. WIFI speed in the room is superior to 33 mg/s. Fantastic.
There is no WIFI in lobby neither in restaurants. Tv are exclusively japanese. No international TV like CNN, BBC, TV5 etc.
We like the location of this hotel very much as it is close to Universal Studio and the aquarium. It is also convenient to travel to Kansai Airport.
Helpful staff, large rooms for Japan, great view over Osaka.
Non smoking room is not available
close from benten station
The views were awesome. The location was opposite 2 stations and supermarket around corner. Close to Universal, aquarium and ferris wheel, all well worth visiting. Easy access to Bullet train and on to Hiroshima or Kyoto and back in a day.
Modern and Comfortable Hotel. Staff are friendly and always trying their best to help. Near JR line and another train line which makes it convenient for travellers. There is a minimart nearby. Also wifi available in room
Hotel located in quiet area. A little from city centre. Although there are cafes but not much choice for food selection. No shopping around this area too.
The view from room and proximity to public transport were good
Very old, smoky hotel with drab decor and lack of facilities.
Near train station and shopping facilities.
Bed was rather hard and the hotel offered no breakfast options however there were several in the adjoining shopping centre.
-Staff was on top of things. -Good size room. -Everything was super clean, and they cleaned a smoking room for us and it was freshened up nicely, we didn't even notice -Close to Bentencho Station
