Excellent Japanese meals in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the royal treatment.

Language would be a challenge.

English speaking staff at reception. Beautiful Japanese style dinner with reasonable price. Hospitally service by all of their staff. An old lady taking good care of us with bed setting and dinner. We did check out in the morning then leave luggage in hotel to visit the bear park, later, weather change to snowing and chilly while we walk back to hotel. The staff offer dry towel and hot tea once we step inside the lobby without asking. Very warm and touching service.

Hotel Staff were very friendly, tried their very best to help us with our very limited Japanese. Rooms were kept very clean and promt service.

Great location - have direct bus from Airport and Sappora station (show the name of the hotel when purchase the donan bus ticket), minutes walk to all places in town, have free shuttle bus as well, can ask staff for free bus to location station as well; Clean and tidy - best one I have experenced in Japan; Great service - nice staff, very helpful whenever you ask for a question or need help; Very Japanese - Must try the Japanese room include meals, it's actually cheaper than you dinning out for such nice meals (dinner+breakfast), and it is serviced in your room; Nice onsen - love the outside onsen, has all skincare product as you can think of; Great extra service - provide Japanese style massage, need booking.

checkin开始就感受到浓浓的和风，房间更是如此。早餐（自付），晚餐是日式料理，丰盛程度简直是惊喜- 不断。温泉泡也很舒服。去熊牧场和bus站都给安排了免费车送，好意外。

外观稍显平凡，与内部的优雅不太配哦。

服务非常好，设施也很完备，地点非常好，从千岁机场到登别的有直达bus

1、酒店服务员相当的热情，也很好客。热情到又是感觉到受不了。 2、酒店的位置也不错，登别汽车站那里也有bus直接到门口。 3、很安静、舒适。

1、房间里没有wifi，要去大堂才有。 2、温泉澡堂房间有点暗，乌漆麻黑的。

绝佳的服务,超豪华晚餐和早餐,帮忙铺床与收床,其中被子特别软和舒服.我们四个人住的四人间,洗手间和浴室都特别豪华,有浴袍穿,温泉虽小,别有风情,而且泡的时候有冰水可以取用. 我们早到了,非常热情地让我们存行李以及推荐了去天然足汤的行程,并给了毛巾.提前了一个小时让我们checkin,午餐的时候专车送我们去温泉街吃荞麦面. 这间温泉酒店特别好,以后来的话还住这里!

The service and staff friendliness

Only one open air spa pool that had to be rotated between male and female usage.

Food was quite good. Spacious rooms. Outdoor spa. Noburibetsu is a hot springs area with interesting geological formations (but really only worth going for one night).

Facilities need a bit of renovation. Staff is almost too attentive.

The quiet, relaxed atmosphere started as soon as we walked through the front door and removed our shoes. Our room, combination western and Japanese style was huge. Suite like. In room meals were sever by very pleasant kimono. Lad women who made every attempt to explain what we were eating. The onsen was hoy, sulfurous and extremely relaxing. Overall a great ryokan experience

The rugs in the bedroom and bathroom felt very old and stained compared to the very clean wooden floors and tatami mats.

This was a lovely Japanese-style Inn. Not much from the outside, but tasteful and elegant on the inside. The staff was incredible: hospitable, welcoming, graciously helpful, etc. Our lodging space was enormous, by Japanese standards: Entry way with private toilet & bathing facilities and closet, then two rooms - one for sitting/eating/TV and another for sleeping with futons already made up for us upon arrival. No air-conditioning, but Hokkaido nights are cool even in summer, plus windows opened and they provided rotating fans for each room, so we were fine. Within easy walking distance of Jigokudani (Hell Valley), the dramatic area where steam spews and sulfurous water oozes from the earth. Beautiful mountain setting and cute little village.

Ofuro (public bath) was nice enough although the water wasn't as hot as ofuro often are. I would have liked it a little hotter. Don't know if that was a fluke or the norm. I speak some Japanese and don't know how it would have been if I were trying to function with English. But staff was so accommodating that I think they would have found a way to communicate.

The onsen spa is a little bit small but it's ok.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel in July 2012. Staff are willing to help and providing great services. If you would like to experience ryokan style with good value of your money - this is it. Although the building and room might be old style but the product used i.e. quality of tea or onsen amenities are the same as used in 5 star hotel. The food / Japanese style are delicious as well.
