Cozy, clean, young ambiance, modern, young staff speaks good english, good breakfast
Only 6 showers for all the women in the hotel, only 2 toilettes in the whole floor, breakfast time only 8h-10h and crowded of people, no keep of lugagge overnight. You don't see the hostel from the main road
Very nice Hostel, good costumer service, installations and location. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
You will not regret booking this hostel, it feels like a expensive hotel and a very well-run one at that. Staff are extremely helpful in tour attractions, information, helping to order food, anything you need they can help you. Facilities are fantastic, super clean and awesome power shower. Laundry available, as well as a comfortable common room with leather chairs and mac computers to surf the net whilst enjoying a drink from their bar. Favourite hostel after 3 month travelling, would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a fantastic stay piece hostel :-)
Just a 3-min walk from Kyoto station. Very clean toilets, rooms, and super friendly staff. Great value for money. My second stay at Piece Hostel and it never disappoints!
Staffs speak good English and able to give useful info. Very tourist friendly, provides maps and location of famous destinations are mapped on the lounge wall.
Very limited space in the room
Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, nice free breakfast.
The dorm is great because the beds are clean and comfortable plus you have your own space. The bathroom and facilities are really clean.
The breakfast is very simple.
Nice, clean and very friendly hostel for low budget backpackers. Very nice facilities and great breakfast included in price
The capsules don't have air conditioning so if you close the curtain there is no air circulation
So clean nice environment walking distance from kyoto station.
A very modern hostel. Clean. Very helpful and friendly staffs. They held a tacoyaki party when I was there, which is good cuz you can get to know the others. They provide bus pass and stamps and many other things at the front desk, you can buy those without going to the station or post office.
Really liking the concept: Save on cost of room size but not on anything else. Service is great, facilities are good (excellent showers), included breakfast is good and everything is perfectly clean. As a bonus: There is a nice bar serving modestly priced drinks, including Japanese whiskey.
Bit tricky to have the airco not blowing too hard where you sleep, but windows can be opened so...
They serve a varieties of bread for breakfast, they also have japanese rice, miso soup, some varieties of tea, coffee. The barley tea was good. You get to choose your own type of pillows and bathrooms are big and clean. They are more like a budget hotel to me.
The hostel is too crowded, maybe because it's new and has better facilities than other hostels
Best location near Kyoto Station by walking just only 5 mins. Very friendly staffs and very helpful. Soundproof roof with great security electronic door with key cards.
Wi-fi is sometimes poor because there's too much visitors using in the same time. Breakfast time is too crowded with too narrow circulation but the food is good and fresh.
Near to the station, cheap, clean, had two electrical ports at bedside
locker didn't work
the hostel is very close to Kyoto Railway station. The atmosphere was great. The toilets rooms and showers are shared but very clean and comfortable. There are tea and coffee available all the time in the lobby. The breakfast is basic but good (in Japanese style, including rice, misu soup. toasts and jem)
the room was not cleamed during my staying
I loved how there was Wi-Fi available throughout the building. Despite being a hostel, I felt that I had near complete privacy and the facilities were very clean with a modern decor. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I also enjoyed the get-togethers and bike rental option.
I didn't like that people had to vacate their rooms for hours for the daily cleaning. I understand most of the time that people will usually have tours, or will be out to visit the city, but for the occasional days you want to sleep in, that is not allowed.
Nice place, great staffs and the services was so good ! :)
Everything. The staff, the location, the hostel itself. Everything is perfect here. I absolutely recommend it. It was the best hostel I've ever been.
A lot of people to meet here, as this hostel is one of the biggest we stayed in throughout asia. Private rooms are tiny (as shown in the sketches) but clean and comfy. You can choose from a variety of different pillows, how nice is that? Breakfast was good but a bit crowded. Loved the happy-hour in the evening for having a beer every day after exploring kyoto. :D
Everything and anything in this place:))
this is a great hostel ! Everything including furniture was new (or at least very young) and of great quality. Yet already there was atmosphere and character. Plus really close to the station.
The hostel could give some information as to how to get there (eg. From train station look for South Exit Whatsitsname then left past the parking lot on the little road...)
Near Kyoto Station walk just 5 minutes. Room is cleanliness and comfortable. Many kind of breakfast and always free tea. Value for save money.
Share bathroom and toilet, Because some one used bathroom longtime. It's make me lost the time.
Simplicity, staff recommendations, cleanliness of rooms and showers
Big, private bed in the shared dorm. Private separate showers. Nice reception/bar area. There was an okonomiyaki night whilst I was there and they catered for me being vegetarian, and it was really tasty! Really convenient to get to the main train station to do day trips.
I was travelling alone and found it hard to meet people there. Maybe occasionally do an event that gets people to interact?
Female dorm bed was so nice. I hope all the bed were like that. Other than that, All the facilities are amazing.
