Staff are great, Rooms are modern and wide, beautifully furnished. Plus, the laundry is complimentary. Location is also exceptional, close to Tenjin station and in a lively borough with lots of restaurants, cafès and shops
The price was not expensive, but the quality of the room was much better than what I expected from the price. I was really satisfied with the room.
The room is comfortably dark, and in good design. However, only for an artistic reason (I couldn't understand the reason), the bed was separated by a step from the floor. The step was dangerous when still only half awake.
It locates in the middle of the town. It is easily accessible to shopping area.
The parking facilities isn't too convenient to travellers with cars.
Wooden floor Nice bathroom. Good size Very good location.
A bit too dark in the room.
The location of the hotel cannot be more perfect. In the lively central of Tenjin and I could walk to pretty much everywhere. The hotel itself was very nice. It has a chique and modern design and all amenities needed were provided. The staff were very friendly. The check in time was actually at 3 p.m., but since I just got off an 11 hrs flight, they were able to get my room ready by 1 p.m. Thanks a lot for that!
The room was a bit on a small side. I was still able to open my suitcase, but it was a 2-persons bedroom and if there was another person, it would provide insufficient space. Breakfast was not included and you can get a breakfast set at the coffeehouse downstairs for 1200JPY. However, I found out that a cup of latte and a nice bis toast was only half the price :)
good location. Many nice, local restaurants nearby. centre of shopping area. room is clean and great bathroom facility/amenities.
Across from Kenga Shrine Close to Tenjin Easy to reach, helpful staff
Breakfast has little variety
I don't like the way they asked me to pay another extra 1000 yuen for not checking out on time(1hr) Late. Ever since I've stayed in Osaka(The New Otani - Five Stars Hotel) and they charge me for checking out late.
the hotel was clean, smart and brilliantly priced. the staff were helpful (although didn't speak much english) it's also really close to the train station which is great.. easily one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in and will happily go there again
Check-in time is at 15 which is a bit late, and check-out at 11, which is too early.
I left sth in hotel, manager was willing to mail back to me! Really thank you!
Pajama? was one fit all, but too small for XL useres.
Excellent location and a great price for what was offered. Both staff at the desk and cleaning staff are very friendly.
Though a non-smoking room, there was a distinct smell which seemed to drift in from the air conditioning
Location, location, location. Also the bathroom/shower was nice and roomy by Japan standards and the bed was very comfortable.
No English Language television. Also, don't bother with the breakfast coupon unless you absolutely require a cup of coffee within ten steps of the hotel lobby. Its a coffee shop but not a full service American style breakfast. I stayed for work eight days. I wanted a good American style breakfast so I walked several blocks to a nearby full service hotel for the breakfast buffet.
Luxurious hotel with amazing rooms. The Hollywood suite was worth the extra cost.
Breakfast should have been included for the price
Excellent location with nice decor.
Hotel is surprisingly sleek and modern, both the public areas as well as the rooms. Unusually large room by Japanese standards.
Great location: near to central bus and metro stations (although most sites are within walking distance), to restaurants and bars, and if you're into shopping, all the department stores are nearby. Rooms are small, but are fully equipped; leave your toiletry bag at home.
Breakfast is not served, but available in the Tully's coffee shop next door.
Fabulous location and view. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a laundry machine guests can use for free which was great when our toddler had an accident. You do need to buy your own detergent, and it took three hours to wash and dry the load, but it was worth it. We had a twin room, and I was able to sleep with my daughter comfortably on one of the beds. Love the price we paid! Cannot believe what we paid for this hotel at such a great location. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Fukuoka.
There is no dresser, which was tough for a long stay.
Very central, nice place and comparatively large rooms for a Japanese mid-class hotel
Breakfast is a desaster: Guests have to decide between two awful choices from the Tully-Cafe beside the Hotel. But the coofee was good, at least . . .
Great hotel, staff was very professional, highly recommended, within walking distance to Tenjin and a five minute ride by subway to Hakata station.
The location of this hotel is great. It is located where all of the major shopping in Fukuoka is; however, the subway is a little bit of a walk underground.
My real concern with Hotel Qurega is its policies. I arrived during Golden Week with 2 other friends (all female). At the time that I booked this hotel, options for rooms in not just Fukuoka but on the entire island of Kyushuu were very limited. I managed to secure the last remaining Queen bed room with the hopes that we could share this room. I had no idea of the struggle we would have to go through. Booking.com does state in the details about Hotel Qurega that there are no extra beds available. What it does not state is that the Hotel will force you to purchase an extra room if you exceed the stated capacity for room occupants. The maximum capacity for the Queen room, we were told, is actually 1 person; however, they let us put two people in that room without the extra person charge. (This extra person charge is not mentioned on Booking.com). The problem was that because we had three people in our party, the third person could not stay in the Queen room under any circumstances. Coincidentally, a single room became available between when I had originally booked and when we arrived at the hotel. We talked with management for more than an hour and the end conclusion was either purchase another room or have nowhere to stay for the night. My main concern is that hotel knew that there were literally zero other available accomodations in Fukuoka at that time. They saw a money making oppurtunity and exploited it. If the Single room wasn't available, would they have been willing to let three female wander without a place to stay for the night? The situation did not sit well with me at all.
They were very accommodating. Convenient location to the train stations.
Very chic design, clean bathroom and comfortable wide bed. Location was also good with lots of coffee shops, restaurants around there.
