Score from 1323 reviews Excellent
very small room, but great location and super clean! a few steps away from lots of restaurants and ginza main street, right opposite to imperial hotel.
room is tiny but u are in tokyo and this is the heart of ginza
The location is near metro and railway station hence near Ginza, the shoping area.
The restaurant opening should be earlier e.g 6.00 AM in order to make customer enough time when leaving hotel early in the morning.
´good Location, Close to Ginza and Railway. Nice Restaurant area.
I have asled not to Change the towels and Sheets and at the check in, this has been confirmed. However, after the first night, towels and Sheets have been changed, which really dissapointed me.
Location is good. Bathroom facility's were good.
the size of the room. no wardrobe. No room for luggage . It was too small for two people traveling with 2 suitcases.
Location is quite close to JR or subway.
The hotel's entrance very hard to find and sign not big.
Close to tons of restaurants, theaters and history. Very professional and helpful staff. Breakfast was great.
Tiny room but made even tinier by our request for a crib. But all in all, still loved it even after 3 nights.
Loved the LOCATION, near the Imperial Hotel and Hibiya Park and Tokyo Intern'l Forum. Bed was very comfy (firm mattress)--especially after I asked for separate top sheet and light blanket (as duvee was too hot). Ask for help on finding English translation on TV. Tiny room, but well lit, modern, exceptionally clean. GREAT--the BEST shower!! (Has a rain shower, but also a 2-other low level options...)
Wish there were more bathroom counter space for ladies' equipment and cosmetics. Would have loved a Kimono/robe. Did not need the massage chair. Would have preferred to use that space to store luggage...maybe with another chair taking up less of footprint.
Tiny room. No room service
Firm mattress, spotless bathroom, shower was better than ANY shower of any luxury hotel, including Mandarin Oriental, Ritz,....just loved the flexibility of the beautiful shower. Wish countertop were wider for women's cosmetics. VALUE for money. Staff was always courteous, lovely, helpful...wonderful. Maid was fantastic. The man in charge of housekeeping was phenomenally helpful.
Very little room to put big, bulky suitcases. (But it worked for me...hung up all my suits and dresses, and stored empty suitcases in short hallway right inside door. Duvee was too hot, but I asked for separate sheet and lighter blanket, and they brought it up immediately. I would DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN in a heartbeat...would look no further in fact.
Location and diligence of the staff.
Room was too small.
While the rooms were small, the use of the space was sufficient. A great massage chair and nice shower. Watching the fans waiting for famous actors to arrive over breakfast with the local paper.
We were frustrated, having landed in the morning and arrived 2 hours before check in, with the rules based approach to early check in (i.e. you can't).
Not enough pillows
Location. Staff / Service Breakfast Cleanliness Internet throughout hotel
Hotel is located very nicely, 200m away from Hibiya Subway station (2 stations from Tokio rail way station - the central one), 10min walk to Shimbasi JR station.
The staff can hardly speak English - it took ages to explain that we need them to make a reservation at Kyoto Imperial Palace for us. Moreover, they refused to help with restaurants booking where only bookings from hotel concierge are normally accepted. Had to use other (non-hotel) concierge service to make reservations. Rooms are extremely small (I guess some 8-9sq.metres + 2sq.metres bathroom), almost no space to put your suitcase. Only hand luggage size suitacase will fit.
This hotel is in a wonderful position. Rooms are small but fully equipped. The bath is modern and very comfortable. Television and wifi more then ok. Bed is excellent. I appreciate the italian just round the corner.
Miss the breakfast room as the restourant is just Japanese. Level of English could improve.
service, clean and value for money
Very good value, quite modern hotel at good location near Ginza, best soundproof walls never heard neigbours! very clean
Sounds of passing trains from nearby railway can be heard, rooms quite small for two people, massage armchair takes too much space, smelly coffee in the lobby, reception people a bit cold
Good location (hard to find the first time but after that easy to find and close to everything) Staff was very helpful - helped us make reservations etc Great toiletries Toto:)
The room is small - not a problem after Paris or Rome but nevertheless it's small We were made to pay £20 for checking in 1.5 hours earlier - a shame for a hotel this size really!
The staff was great , very clean hotel, there housekeeping is so far the best I have seen so far . Expertly clean
The massage chair takes the little space one needs considering it was a very small room. Also very difficult to find someone who really speaks clear English and understands you as well.
Location, the cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the bed
have never seen such a small room, there is no gym, the breakfast is almost non existent (so do not buy that in advance), the heating is problematic.
Need to give water bottles more freely.
The location was perfect for my needs, very central, 10-15mn walking distance to the Tokyo central train station, less than 10mn to the international conference centrer. The hotel is very clean, the staff try to be helpfull, but not always easy as not everybody speaks english :-) Bed and pillow very confortable ( Tempur).
The very small room, but that is the standard in central Tokyo.
Location is very good Hotel room was enough for 2 people Stuff were helpfull
