The futon bed is very dusty!!!
Great location, there are family mart next to.
Far away from train station.
The host wasn't as friendly as reviewed by previous posts. He was able to attend to requests, but nothing more than that. A jap cemetery was located not too far from the house. Not that it really affected our stay, it's just a cultural adverse to be in close proximity.
The experience of staying in a tatami room with yukata, and a traditional jap washroom (where you could bathe openly and soak into a hot tub, although not with hotspring water), and complete with a jap breakfast. There is also a small plantation in front of the house, quite likely to be crops grown by the owner.
Disappointed Public Bath Area No attached toilet
Excellent pick up & send off service from main station Comfortable tatami
The traffic can be heard every night as it was next to a busy road.
Very efficient and clean family run inn. Great Japanese breakfast with different menu each day. They were happy to drive us to FujiQ and to Toyota rental car place the next day. You can also use their washing machine.
Female toilet is on the ground floor near the lobby, don't understand the logic. No kettle/microwave, hot water given but cold temperature render it just luke warm not enough to even cook instant noodle. Shower is public! (:O Uncle owner looks solemn. And I requested for a mountain view room, upon checking in I saw mountain as a side note to my name, but I was literally given a 'mountain' view from my room..not Fuji. -_-
Loved the short distance to a Halal restaurant and convenience store. Great view of Mt Fuji. Friendly looking lady owner. Excellent breakfast (I requested for seafood only/no sake). Free massage chair at the lounge area is a plus after a long day. Free shuttle back to Kawaguchiko station. Relatively cheaper than other hotels around the area.
nothing major was wrong with the property.
staff was very friendly. They even gave a ride to the train station.
Japanese style room
near the lake and a 24hour 7-11，staff is very friendly，and after i checked out ，they send us to the station、
Very very cold room (they could turn the heater before guests arrive), had to fight with the ac to get in on heating mode, hotel needs to be fully repainted, metal room doors weird, loud and not nice, toilets a bit messy (bins were not emptied) too expensive for the current state of amenities
Owners nice (even drove us back to the station), nice breakfast
wonderful views on the fireworks at the lake, and Mt. Fuji, convenient stores and restaurants close by, everything was clean (room, shared facilities)
It was cold and the houses I feel are built to accommodate turists in the summer... so beeing there in jan is not optimal
Location good and visiting this place was much better than I expected Japanese breakfast good but not magic
Is a little bit far, but he drove us to the station in his car.
Everything was OK. Big breakfast. You need to wake up in order to finish all the food he will offer to you.
It's a little bit old-fashioned It's expensive according to the facilities
Fuji-san scenery at resort location. I can go everywhere the shuttle bus park each station, not far away from resort about 4 minutes at bus stop no. 3 and 4.
Room on Fujisan side was very impressive for me. Easy bus ride in front of hotel. The owner was very kind and he gave us a ride back to the station.
The owners are very kind.the view from our room very excellent
No toilet in the room. No towel and drinking water.
Good loacation, it's on the main road to the lake and not far from the station. You can see Fuji from the hotel. The room is wide and comfortable. Breakfast is good. The owner is so nice.
The Japanese style inn room was roomy and tatami beds were comfortable. The best part of this inn was the owner Mr. Takeshi who was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He suggested us awesome places to eat and even gave us a lift to the train station. The inn is a short scenic walk away from the lake and fantastic views of Mt. Fuji. If you visit, you must stay here!
The location is very close to the lake and very accessible. The manager is very accomodating and helpful. The warm food they prepared was also nice. I would look forward to visit Kawaguchiko again and stay at the hotel.
This is my 4th time in kawakushiko this is my fovourist guesthouse. Warm welcome, excellent service mind, clean room, easy to reach by Public bus green line or red line bus stop number 3 or 4 from KAWAKUSHIKO station, large supermarket near by, you can view Mount. Fuji from the hotel. I will be back again next time. The host they do the best to make your stay happy.
Located on a main road (which didn't bother us) but not ideal for a light sleeper Thin blinds so room was very light as soon as the sun came up
The owner was really friendly and welcoming Free shuttle service to the station Only 10/15 min walk to the lake and Mt Tenjo hiking trail (Kuchi Kuchi ropeway) Family Mart and 7/11 within 5 min walk Breakfast included Free wifi in the room (good speed) 15/20min walk to train station, although there is no footpath so no ideal after dark
Not get use to the japanese traditional style pillow
Nothing. Arigato gozaimas!!
Wonderful staff, great location, and the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese style rooms and breakfast. A special stay.
