The receptionist was not helpful and could not explain why we were charged with additional JPY1,200 for our stay of 5 nights. According to booking.com, we need to pay an amount of JPY155k to the hotel, but when we reached the hotel, we were told that the accommodation tax was not included in the package, and thus we need to pay extra JPY1,200, which we weren't convinced.
We did stayed in another hotel for 4 nights before proceeding to this hotel, and we paid the exact amount as per what booking.com had quoted us, not even a cent extra. We were held up for more than 30 minutes, which was already closed to 10pm, and finally we have to pay before we were given a room, by then we were both exhausted.
Next night, after a long walk in Tokyo city, upon returning to our hotel room, we were so angry to notice that only the bed were made and the towels changed, other than that, rubbish bin was not cleared (both room and toilet), drinking cup that we drank our tea was also not washed, all left untouched on the tea table. Our slippers was laying in the middle of the room, while the rest of the toiletries were in the same position as when we left the room (not like other hotel, they always rearranged nicely for us). This is the worst experience we ever have after staying in numerous 4 or 5 stars hotel, and we will definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody.
