Shame they didn't have more nights available.
Very hospitable Value for money Near public transportation
Could be better for shared bathroom facility
very comfortable rooms bath 1st floor but nice friendly staff
Nobody else stayed in the dorm room, had it all to myself.
Location seems a bit sketchy. Wifi reach was poor.
We had just done the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and it was amazing place to come and relax after a long day of walking. The bathing facilities are great and everything is a great for the price you pay.
That we couldn't got the extra night that we wanted there.
Very big and clean room, aircondition, comfy futon, fridge, tea service, very close to Toyama Castle. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
the area around the ryokan is a bit noisy with a lot of bars around, but the comfort of the hotel compensates for that. WiFi not always available from room, but worked sometimes.
If you want to know, how it was to stay in japan in couple of years ago, go to this rjókan. It is old fashioned, with everything what you can imagine. Exciting.
Nice and affordable japanese style room. Staff was very friendly and service oriented, speaks some English (which I did not expect in a Ryokan, so nice surprise).
Staff is so friendly and helpful. The room is clean.
- Bathroom is not enough. - No elevator. - Old room and old furniture.
I like Japanese style room and facilities with low cost and good care for the customers
1. Staff can speak simple English. 2. Staff helped to provide a boiler. 3. Wifi available, though it took me some time to get the network id and password.
1. No English or Chinese name displayed outside the hotel.
Not far from the train station, lots of restaurants and entertainment in the neighbourhood. Friendly host. Big room. Hot tea was served in the room after arriving, warm welcome!
The place has had better times. Bathroom not clean. Internet is only working on first floor.
Super location and very friendly staff. In addition, it was great to stay in a traditional ryokan. The included breakfast was a nice touch.
I was fortunate to have the female dorm (sleeps 3) to myself! lovely room with Japanese style sleeping arrangements. The lady at reception was very welcoming and made sure I was comfortable.
I was told the onsen was mixed (!) but I could bathe early evening before other guests arrived. The bath was very small and rather tired, but given the economic room rate this was really not so important.
