Location is near main railway station. Room is clean. Reception is on 15th floor. Breakfast costs 25 EUR (!). Staff on the reception forgot to bring one of my suitcases in my room. Room is quite small. TV programs are mainly Japanese. No wardrobe in the room. only few coat-hangers on one wall hook. Minibar is empty.

Compact, but perfectly clean and efficient. Comfortable sleeping in spite of tight room. Free wireless and water provided. Good, strong shower plus all little toiletry/amenities provided. Location is right across from major metro stop (Tokyo) and very lively night time restaurant scene. Room was virtually windowless. That is, it had a window, but it didn't open nor could you see out of it. Further, they only allowed me to extend my checkout time (11 am) by one half-hour.

The proximity to the train station can't be beat. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, a standard double and a superior double. Both were spacious and modern, and the superior double even had an extra deep japanese bath. The breakfast buffet (2500 yen per person) wasn't cheap but offered a wide selection of Japanese and Western breakfast items. The view from the dining room looking out over the city was marvelous. The lobby (on the 15th floor) is decorated very stylishly, with floor to ceiling windows, and an artistic bamboo installation separating the lounge from the dining room. Cheap and cheerful washing machines available for guest use and free high speed wifi in room were added bonuses! Rooms were very pricey, compared to other hotels of equal or greater calibre, say in Kyoto for example, Hotel Rymeikan was more expensive. Perhaps that's just Tokyo?

We experienced a luxury trip when staying at Hotel Ryumeikan. It has a high-tech wake up system as well as a nice coffee machine. The location is good and the service is good. The only thing I don't like much is about the room size. Actually, it is my second time stayed there, I can't feel there's any different between Semi double and double except the high-tech system and coffee machine.....we even can't open two baggages at the same time. The big price increased in yen5000 per night between 2011 and 2012.

Perfect location, close to Ginza, Emperor gardens, Tokyo Central station, shopping, dining and business areas (all reachable by foot); Roppongi and Akihabara just 10 min by rail. Nice room design, newly renovatetd, perfectly clean and tidy. Amenities, bath robe, tube and equipment are up to the highest standards. Free wifi in a room. Paying more than US$350 a night (100% prepaid at check-in) it is natural to expect minibar not to be absolutely empty and TV in-room entertaiment system not to be locked. Restaurant advise of concierge was just ridiculous: they made us wait for 10 min while were checking on the internet and finally sent us to some pizza place for a sea food.

The hotel staff could speak English reasonably well, were courteous. Very convenient location The rooms are quite small, there is no provision for a wardrobe and hence is not very comfortable for 3-4 days stay.

The service was impeccable. The facilities are modern, comfortable and well-kept. The standard double room was large enough for two adults and the shower was luxurious. The only drawback at all was that there was no dresser to store clothing, so we had to work out of our suitcases. It is in a great location in central Tokyo across from the main train station.

The location adjacent to Tokyo station is superb. Many shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The staff is very kind and effective. The rooms are very small and lack closet space. This is not unusual in big cities in Japan and results in an reasonable room rate. Highly recommended.

A comfortable well-run hotel in central Tokyo close to Tokyo station and several metro lines. The room was small but very well designed to make the most of the space, and even a bathtub was fitted in.
