WiFi has a tendency to slow up in the evening.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, so ready to help with whatever you need, both in English and Japanese. Tea and coffee on hand any time and a lovely common area that was a great place to sit and share stories with other travellers. I was so happy with my stay I've chosen to stay there again at the end of my trip!
Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms were clean and despite being located right near asakusa centre it was quiet. I stayed in winter and the rooms were warm, also the kotatsu down stairs was great. The dorms with four beds were good, storage space and staying with less people than normal was nice.
Woman at front desk was not helpful, even when we asked her specifically how to book something
The double room was supposed to come with a queen bed but instead came with two twin beds that were stitched together, so there was an uncomfortable ridge between the two beds. We had to request for linens to be changed (bedsheets are not automatically changed every day) so we never bothered to. The hostel is near the Tsukuba Express (which is very expensive) but a good 15min walk from the nearest metro/subway station, so the location is not the most convenient.
Fresh towels provided every day, ensuite shower room and toilet, located in Asakusa which is very tourist-friendly.
Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Location was great. Room was a good size. I'd easily recommend K's House Tokyo Oasis!
It books up fast (duh, it's an awesome place), so I was unable to stay there for the full week I was in Tokyo.
The Staff are awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and ventilation was good. The bed was also comfortable. The hostel is also located in the heart of Asakusa and near shops and the Sensoji Temple. It was my second time staying here and it will be my first choice should I visit Tokyo again. Highly recommended!
Great value and very helpful staff. It is closed to the train tsukuba station (but not the major one).
The Friendly staff gave us excellent restaurant suggestions. They also made us feel really comfortable and completely at home. They have a great sense of humour. The hostel is fairly close to the subway. It's very easy to get even without a map. The room was amazing... Reminded me of a ryukan ....I think that's how you spell it. Overall... A highly recommended quality hostel.
WiFi signal wasn't very strong in our room, but luckily it's no trouble to head to the common area for a better signal.
Staff was fantastic!
Location a bit far from the action. Our room had no real windows which made it a little damp.
Staff were excellent. Room was basic but comfortable
Easy and in a great location
Wasn't completely clear from the booking.com description that this is actually a hostel (albeit a very good-quality one). Also - not to do with the property but just for information if this is anyone's first time in Tokyo: Asakusa isn't the most convenient for JR trains (particularly an issue for getting to the airport for an early flight).
Very friendly and helpful staff, quite central for all the sights in Asakusa. I appreciated all the nice little touches like welcome origami. The private room and bathroom were very clean.
I liked everything. The employees are very kind and helpfull, the rooms are excellent, the kitchen is very well equiped and it is within a 10 minutes walk from Asakusa Station, in a very lice traditional area of Tokyo. I strongly recommend a stay there.
staying in k'a house was very enjoyable and the staff were very helpful and the location was distinctive and entertainment and everything were close I would recommand to stay in it
We loved the friendliness and willingness to help from all the staff and were more than satisfied with our room and facilities. The location, just off a main road was perfect and the directions sent to us could not have been more precise. We were in Tokyo for a traditional wedding which necessitated some dealing with unfamiliar issues. Our preference is for smaller hotels and on this occasion it really paid off. We cannot praise the staff highly enough for the way they assisted us. We were sad to leave and look forward to seeing them on our next trip to Japan.
Nice location and very helpful staff.
If you have heavy backpack, the ten minutes from subway will be long after a day on foot. In the morning OK. No cupboard or shelf at room, no table, chair.
Nice location in "oldtown". Close to temples. Real old japan atmosphere arround. Excellent conweyor belt sushis arround. Lawson (food shop) just accross the street. Free washing/dryiing for facebook like.
The area is great for the temple but not much else to do and dining option limited. Bathroom small but it's Japan.
We arrived very late at night but our keys and instructions were left for us, very happy. Location is great for the Asakusa area and the temple. Safe are and clean room. A fair walk gets you to Ueno park.
The guardrobe where we had to live our shoes was messy
The staff was very friendly and gave us many suggestions on what to do, how to go around Tokyo and what to see. The double bedroom was quite big compared to usual japanese rooms. The neighbourhood Asakusa is very funny, crowded and full of traditional shops. Close to Asakusa line stop that goes straight to Haneda airport.
Wifi dropped out often.
Large beds, great/helpful staff, good hot water/shower pressure, great location.
Wifi a bit shaky.
The biggest, nicest room we stayed in all trip. We had a separate toilet and shower in the room, and both were excellent.
That we didn't stay here for longer!
Friendly staff who spoke English. Right near a station entrance. Clean building. We had a double room with queen bed and it was still cheap and large enough.
I highly recommend K's House for anybody staying in Tokyo. My girlfriend and I stayed at the double room with private bathroom for a night, which we found to be very comfortable. The staff of K's house is superb, very friendly and helpful, giving sightseeing tips of the city. The environment of community is very pleasant. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
Comfy room , great service, nice staff
At end of long day the 10min walk to the station seems very long.
Nice area, great restaurants nearby, spacious private room, very clean, better than any hotel at same price, friendly staff and travellers, quiet after 10pm, no curfew
