-staff -welcome -small terrace at the entrance -clients come from many country, relax vibes, open mind
-Depending your room neighbor, the wall behind is very thin... - Price is a bit expensive for general comfort...but it is Tokyo and you are in the center
helpful and friendly staff & clean room
bit confused to find the location
I liked the location which was close to subway stations. In addition there were lots of bookstores, restaurants and shops in a comfortable city atmosphere. It is walking distance to the Imperial Palace and about a 25 minute walk to Akihibara Electric and technology town. I liked the staff who were friendly and spoke good english. The price was excellent for a shoe-string budget.
The music was sometimes too loud in the cafe in the afternoon and evenings. I wanted to write about my experiences while I was there but there was really no peaceful place to do this at except in the very early morning.
Most everything was fine. No real complaints. Its nice that they dell food and drinks. Close to a family mart and Jimbocho station.
The seating in the common area is a bit tight.
clean showers and bathrooms, good location, nice staff
Room was very small but fair for the price
Location near subway
WiFi not ok
nice neighborhood, close to station, Ginza and Akihabara are walkable
It's clean, fast wi-fi and it's in central tokyo so you can get to anywhere for only a short time. It's surrounded by a lot of bookstores also!
The places are a bit small. But it's tolerable
Location is perfect for book reader and sport people and very near to subway station.
Wi-Fi signal is very low in the room. Need to go to the lobby to access high-speed internet. At the time I stayed, the air conditioner was broken and the staff at night didn't help to fix the problem so I needed to wait for the day after. No proposal for discount or changing the room.
Super friendly staff, they really lifted the place. Breakfast offerd to a decent price. Great location, very close to Jimbocho subway station which quickly takes you both to Ginza, Shibuya and other hot spots.
At first I got a dorm room in the basement, I'm not picky but that was a health danger. Damp and mouldy, I felt neusea after 10 min in there so I had to change room. The staff really went out their way to help me and we could come up with a solution even though the place was fully booked. Watch out for the room called the Filly, the above ground rooms were nice.
Friendly and helpful staff, good location close to the subway.
I was hoping that the hotel would be a better place to meet fellow travellers - the cafe was not as sociable a place as I was hoping for.
The hostel is near to an area with many old books shops and I like walking around there.
I really liked that the place is very clean and the staff are all warm and attentive to my queries and needs. The location of the hostel is central to Tokyo and you can access most tourist spots from the Jinbocho station. As a fitness enthusiast, I loved the fact that it is very near the imperial palace where you can take an early morning jog. I also got to work out at the community sports center nearby. If you are a fitness buff and you wouldn't want to pack in the extra pounds with all that great Japanese food, you should stay here.
The Cable TV kinda sucks because it did not have any foreign channels. Anyway, that didn't really matter that much because most of the time I am away.
Extremely close to the subway's exit. Staff's English is impeccable. You can get a quick meal in the morning in their small restaurant across the lobby. (I recently posted a wrong review for this hotel. Please disregard it if you see it).
The room for 2 people is small, don't bring huge luggage. But, that was to be expected.
The natural hot springs in the basement of the hotel was excellent. The hotel's staff was attentive and could speak many other languages besides English.
We had to walk about 10 min from the nearest subway exit to get there. However, if you have spinner luggage the walk should be easy.
Close to subway st, close to good places to eat. Quiet area. Lots of interesting book stores. Subway has great connections from here. Clean.
Food at the hotel is expensive and not very good. Not good sound isolation - you can hear everything the neighbours are saying. Small room.
The location is OK
It's a very poor value for money hostel. Low comfort and old. The added breakfast is very poor, only toast and jam.
Amazing value for money in Tokyo. Very central and just next to subway make it easy to discover the city. Great english speaking staff. Very clean and well organised
convenient, one minute to the Metro station service was generally fantastic
unstable wifi network(not sure if my room was too far from the router) room was a bit small
Location was accessible
Poor wifi unable to use inside the room.
staff was very friendly, spoke english and had places advertised for us to go
changing rooms when booked for 6 nights
Some of the staff were really nice
The staff always greeted me first and were always so helpful in answering questions. Even when they didn't know the answers, they would do their best to find an answer for you. I had my friends ask them for restaurant recommendations and each one was always great! I had booked a bed in the dorm room, but to my surprise it was full and the staff did not hesitate to put me in a private room at no extra charge! They really impressed me with their friendly service and the hotel/hostel was really close to the metro!
The location is central, and that it is close to the Tokyo Metro and many excellent places to eat!
