-we booked a room of 6 beds very clean and comfortable -although the toilets were shared with other guests it was always neat and clean -free wifi was fast
-breakfast could offer more variety -other than that it was great!
The hostel is located nearest to the Tsukuba express station than the Asakusa Station. It is a nice place to stay although it isnt the cheapest price. The lobby is good to meet new people or planning your visit.
Nothing to say
Everything you need. Good atmosphere.
Good spot for traveller, close to the shrine and asakusa spot for night.
- difficult to find (we have to take the taxi to get to the place ~ 730Yen, not that much though)
cheap, near asakusa area, clean toilet
far from jr station, they dont give us room sandals, the room is so small, there is no mirror inside the room
Location is very good, good value for your money!
Too many noisy roommate!
The staff were super friendly and the common area was large and comfortable, with good (not too busy) cooking facilities. The wifi connection was good in the common area and the place was really clean. The bathroom facilities were great with no queues and te shower was one of the best I've had in a hostel. The beds have curtains that you can pull which makes it nice and private.
The ad says that wifi is in all areas but we couldn't get a connection in our room. The beds were ok as they had mattress toppers, but mine was a bit flat in the middle so the bed was quite hard.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good and quiet shared bathroom facilities, nice common room, sociable atmosphere and we were very grateful that we could leave some heavy luggage in storage for a week.
Thr hostel is very friendly and staff are very helpful. I found it great as a solo traveller meeting new people. The whole place is very clean and well maintained.
New, modern hostel, lockers in dorms, individual lamps, key cards, baggage storage, the staff speaks English, free breakfast (served between 5AM-11AM!), big beds. Just a few steps from Sensoji temple, 10 minutes walk to Asakusa subway station with direct trains to/from both HND and NRT, two good supermarkets nearby.
Exactly what I was looking for at the right price and location. Presentation, cleanliness, helpful staff, a great all round package.
air condition in the rooms - i felt like in a cooler
Breakfast was included when we booked. Not so varied, but you could eat as much as you wanted. Good staff, they helped us a lot when we wanted to use the washing machine prior to out check and upon or request we could move to another room without any problem.
Only Japanese settings on the computers. Hard to look for things in English or your local language as changing keyboard layout was impossible.
No curfew, drinks purchaseable from the lobby all night. Cool people from around the world drinking together until late into the night but sleep still comes surprisingly easy regardless. Great location as well.
Nice staff, good lobby to meet new people and confortable beds
Wifi internet isn´t good
I really like the people who stayed there. The guests are all very cool and talkative, at least all of my dorm buddies were, and I knew none of them before hand! I like the services. They are pretty helpful and accommodating. What I really appreciate was the ability to speak pretty decent English!
My room's AC did not work and if it did, super poorly. I was sweating almost all day! I came in August so that sucked. The buffet I feel is ok at most. I wouldn't pay for it. It's just all you can eat toast I believe and tea, coffee, etc.
Really nice hostel with good atmosphere! Really cool!
WiFi in room downstairs didn't work. Location is a bit far (10-15min) from any metro station.
Great location. Very near Sensoji temple, the station and shopping areas. It has the feel of a college dormitory.
A little noisy with a theme park right next door. A little hard to find at first. Easiest way to get there is through the temple.
Very friendly staff, nice entrance area and outside area to hang out and meet fellow travelers. A few minutes walk from Senso-Ji temple and not very far at all from the Sky Tree.
Next door to an amusement park, but not an issue at night.
Staff is great, good breakfast, clean hostel, very close to asakusa most important spots, such as Sensoji temple.
Not really easy to find the hostel (bit far from a subway station), rooms could be better cleaned, no amenities at bathroom.
staffs are nice and willing to answer all questions; you can also meet international new friends here
- location - fair price
- no toiletry - hair dryer is at reception. - laundry is in front of common/dining room.
Internet was free and there was always enough units to use. One can eat in tables in the ground floor and use kitchen utencils. Staff where helpful with directions, maps and tourist information. The area was just few meters from Sensoji temple and various places to eat, shop and train stations.
Directions should be provided on line to find the hostel. I arrived when it was dark and raining and finding the hostel was not easy. Had to stay in upper bed in the dorm, it was not easy for me to climb. Being the last of 6 in the room to come in, the things of others were scattered all around. No space to put my things. Lockers were small and one had to pay for the padlock. The room was too cramped, no area to sit down and put shoes, no mirror or desks.
only 10 minutes of walk from the metro station.
Very close to the metro station, there's a convenience store near by. Staff is helpful and kind.
Wifi isnt very good on some floors, and the common area could be cleaned more often. The smoking area could stayed opened longer.
