Free map and explanations where to go nice breakfast (not japanese I think) He called us a taxi (1000Yen to Main Station or 30min walk)
Not all rooms have aircon (but sapporo is quite cool)
The male owner was quiet nice, althougt he does not speak much English. Breakfast was great and relatively cheap.
Beware! There is a 5% credit card surcharge. This guest house does not have air conditioning. Summer can be too hot to sleep well.
The owner insisted on keeping the keys to our rooms. Laundry facilities were available, but when the owner was asked when they could be used, he said they were busy and did not give a time when they would be free.
Rooms were clean and comfortable
You didn't get a key for your room. The man locked or opened your room when needed... One of our rooms he just used a coin to open the lock.
I stayed in a female dorm in japanese style which made my travel experience a bit new to me.
The location was difficult to find. Luckily, i asked a kind 7-11 staff. She told me how to get there.
Boss is so kind and breakfast also good even cheap.
space is very small I cant do anything for something.
Is a homestay, not motel. Very helpful and friendly owner. 5 mins walk to nearby subway station. 20 mins walk to Sapporo station during winter time...
Staff is very nice! the room is big and clean, feel like home.
a bit far from subway station, but still can walk even when it's snowing
The location was very close to the entertainment district, the staff (the family) was very nice and friendly.
The road into the Inn is a bit scary at night for a single female. The walls are also very thin, and i heard throughout the evening the conversation and TV in the kitchen right below, as well as the morning cooking....
The owner was very friendly and understanding that my Japanese is very poor. He gave me a very nice room, was not upset when my host family from three years ago called that hostel, and it was a wonderful stay in general.
I had originally made the reservation for two nights but quickly after changed it to just a single night. The owner had the original booking, but when I said I was only staying for one night, he was confused. I don't know if that was the site's fault or his, but it irked me a bit.
This inn is located very far away from the city down town area 'susukino' and it's super hard to find it out in a narrow and dark lane as it is a family house not even an inn. The price is not therefore cheaper than a normal downtown located inn or 2-3 star hotels. I won't even recommend to the backpackers.
Location is excellent; bike rental very practical.
Tatami mat/traditional Japanese hotel room is fun at first, but uncomfortable after a couple of days. Lock on my hotel room was of poor quality.
