The hotel was very clean, very spacious, in a good location (near transit & shops), the staff was very helpful, & the free WiFi was great! The chef downstairs was very friendly & offered to bring our fried eggs to our table, & the restaurant manager comped our breakfast when the hotel made a mistake. Breakfast in bed was another plus! We would stay here again & recommend to others.
Our only dislike was restaurant choices were limited.
Corner room - great view
$10 coffee in lobby lounge
Great location next to Hiroshima station , and all the site scenes transport and local shops !!!
The most expensive espresso coffee I ever had in my life 960 yens = 11,00 australian dollars.
New, modern design, impeccable service, views, clean, excellent location right by Shinkansen station, nice cafe with cakes, very reasonable price
Restaurants are expensive and so is breakfast, but there are many good food alternatives in the train station building
Everything that one can expect to have a lovely and comfortable stay.
Nothing that I can think of.
Hotel was a great change from the micro rooms in Japan. Space Luxury Bed location comfort staff price views
Needed an English Movie Channel
Great views from our room. Close to the train station
The toilet and separate bathroom had frosted glass doors but lacked privacy as you could see through them. The swimming pool had an extra charge of £18 per person so we didn't swim
Amazing view from the club floor room. Lovely comfortable king size bed and huge room by Japanese standards. Highly recommend taking the club floor option if not much extra - the perks of free breakfast and free snacks and drinks during the day including alcohol at night made it worthwhile. Staff spoke English well and went out of their way with their customer service. Super convenient in it being located right next to the main train station. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.
A little far away from the CBD and Peace Park.
Location was excellent for exploring Hiroshima as well as providing easy transport connections for onward travel. The bed was amazing -one of the best nights sleep I've had in ages!
Breakfast wasn't included and was very pricey so we didn't bother. But they have a great patisserie in the foyer so we just grabbed pastries in the mornings on our way out.
I had a very good feeling at the time of my first step into the room. A good space at the door area.
None! A little thing. A receptionist had a misunderstanding, speaking to me in Japanese,'cause of my looks.
The room was devine and large, and so well appointed .... the best of our stay in Japan. Next to rail station, and if you have a JR Rail Pass, there is a free red JR bus that visits all prime stops, almost next to the hotel.
The room was fantastic, as is the rest of the hotel. Only negative - the western breakfast, limited in nature, fatty bacon, and no apparent change in offerings, day to day. A big fail, had much better in lesser hotels around Japan.
Everything was perfect, from checkin to checkout.
Location beside the train station was great for us. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We checked out early and they held our luggage which was useful.
wifi was an extra charge to use in the room. Unacceptable! Arrived about 2:30pm and out room wasn't ready but when I asked for a room to change in because I wanted to go straight out our room suddenly became available! Too many people sitting about waiting to check in. Was the hotel REALLY that full? Overpriced compared to other hotels that I had used in Japan. It was nothing special.
Location Breakfast Bed
Very modern and comfortable room with full depth window and view over city.
Food a bit pricey.
Location - didn't have to carry bags very far Rooms - comfortable, sizeable (bathroom may not be to some tastes - doors are opaque so need to very comfortable with person sharing with)
You have to pay to use pool and it's expensive Bar is super expensive
The sushi-bar was a huge disappointment. I know Japanese cuisine very well and the guys running the place did not fare well. The management should hire at least one real sushi chef.
Outstanding property. Convenient location next to the station. Big, bright and elegant rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Charming staff, especially Mervyn, the Exec chef. It was good to see him, not just chatting to the guests but wiping the breakfast bar himself, rather than summoning one of the staff. Leading by example. And the English guy was excellent too (sorry, I didn't remember your name). Keep up the good work.
You have to pay to use the swimming pool. That's a bit of a surprise to travellers from some nations. But I suppose it's the norm in Japan.
Location and spacious room.
Not exciting room view. Car parking over night costy.
Location! We had a long travel and arrived late in Hiroshima, having hotel 2 min from the station was very good choice.
You need to pay separate for all the facilities and book in advance.
Excellent sized roo. New king sized bed.
All staff (especially David) more than willing to help.
Great proximity to the train station. A good buffet at reduced prices for guests. Spacious room and of the standard you would expect. Friendly and helpful staff.
The bathroom structure is really odd. Cannot use at night if you don't want to disturb your partner. Charging hotel guests to use the swimming pool is an absolute disgrace.
The room is spacious, staff very very helpful and polite, facilities very good. Location near to everything.
