Shibuya Tobu Hotel    

Staff was helpful although weak in English. Location is in the heart of Shibuya.

Great location in Shibuya, but a little bit far from the subway. Restaurants and coffee shops are all around the hotel, perfect if you want to eat close. The staff is very nice and helpful, they all speak English pretty well. The room was very clean, they also gave us pajamas and slippers.

The room is a bit too small, but it's normal for Tokyo. There is no wireless in the room, we had to bring our router. The bathroom is a bit old and not well-ventilated, but very clean!

The location was fantastic! Within walking distance of Shivbuya station and LOADS of shopping and restaurants. Although we stayed in a 'small' room by the hotel's standard it was actually a reasonable size. The room was also very clean.

Nice decent hotel in Shibuya not too far from Shibuya station. Clean rooms, good bathroom and helpfull staff. I would stay there again.

Location was great, roughly a 5 min walk from Shibuya station (and the large Shibuya crossing). Heaps of shops around, and great places to eat (love Genki Sushi!!). Room itself was a decent size for a twin room, we had enough spare for a small 2 seater couch, which came in handy.

Only offered wired Internet for free, but luckily I had read this before I stayed there, so I purchased a wireless nano router from Amazon before my trip, and was able to get wifi. I believe my friends were able to hire something similar for about ¥500 per day. Bathroom was on the small side, but that's expected for Tokyo (and Japan in general!). Beds were quite hard, as were the pillows. If you're picky with what you lay your head on, then I recommend bringing your own pillow!!

Central location. Shibuya station very near. Good for shopping. Good for a 1-2 day business trip.

the wireless was not working

Convenient convenient convenient. Shopping at your doorstep and access to the subway just a stone throw away. Would recommend to everyone who wants to be in the action. The rooms were quite so even through we were quite central you wouldn't know it when you returned f the foo for a good nights rest.

I stayed Tobu Hotel in the midst of March 2013 with my mom and my elder brother. I strongly recommend you this hotel in that I absolutely love to its very satisfied location, clean room service and comfortable atmosphere. It is near from the Sibuya Station which is one of busiest stations in Tokyo, it just away from the Station around 5 to 7 minutes on foot, so you can easily access to many tour spots and actually Sibuya is also a popular place for shopping at all. In addition, although you do not choose the breakfast service in the hotel, you will be able to buy snacks or a bunch of bread from near convenience stores like Family Mart - it takes only about 2 minutes on foot from the hotel, and there are many family restaurants' chains like Dennis（デニズ）, Saizeria（サイゼリア）, Gasto（ガスト）across the hotel and they open during about 24 hours, so that you can have breakfast even early morning. Thus, you really don't have to book the breakfast. Also it was a perfect place to stay and enjoy young Japanese life style. Not very much dangerous despite the fact that I came back to the hotel about 12 am. The room was also very quiet when I went in bed and was tidy all the time.

I suppose nothing is specially disadvantage in staying at the hotel. Totally nice :)

Perfect localisation near center of Shibuya. Clean room, pretty pleasent staff.

They have soke prpblems wi issuing the invoice because lack of the space in their computer invocing system. Beter ask first.

The location Not too far from the civic center but not too crowded and quiet.

Location is superb, very close to Shibuya station and to many awesome shops. It's perfect to explore Tokyo and we were so happy we choose it for our first trip. Rooms are small but nice and very confortable and have everything you need.

There is no wifi connection available, only wired. I have found this to be common in Japan, so we took our own wireless router and cable and it wasn't a problem for us. Also, breakfast is a bit expensive, I recommend to have breakfast at any place nearby (the area is full of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores).

Close to shibuya main intersection & harajuku shopping districts. Easy to find & not far from the train lines.

Room was very small for 2 people with luggage but this is quite normal for Japan.

Respectful and helpful staff and very clean accommodation. Also, very well sited for an exciting area of Tokyo and transport connection.

Rooms were comfortable, neat and resourceful. Staff was of most help and very nice to us, trying to find alternative solutions if there was any query or doubt. Location is superb with easy access at walking distance to Narita express and a handful of lines of Tokyo metro, as well as Shibuya crossroad, hachiko, shibuya bars and restaurants area, etc.

Rooms were small. Wifi access is not available in the rooms and the link is of a poor quality at the common areas.

Proximity to Downtown Shibuya shopping and restaurants.

Wi-Fi only available in the main foyer - this was inconvenient when attempting to plan a days activities or search for restaurants. Bathroom was not cleaned properly prior to stay or during.

It was convenient for where I wanted to go.

Wasn't necessarily the hotel but when we came out in the morning, my motorbike which was parked at the hotel wall, the seat was slashed by a knife a few times. This was very disappointing.
