Opening in October 2014, Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho is in a bright entertainment district just a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station.

Free bag storage at reception if arriving early before check in, so can drop bags and head out for the day. Modern restaurant for breakfast, free shuttle, location.
Entrance / reception area could do with a refurb to reflect the modern look found in the restaurant.
It was a good location for walking and a 3 minute cab ride to the mail rail station.
Non smoking room had no closet to hank cloths.
The shuttle bus to and fro is super convenient!
Location, shuttle to metro station.
Staff doesn't speak english, so as foreing tourist can't communicate and get ideas where to go. No bell Captain or Concierge.
No English Channel
Close to Shinjuku station. Could travel either by feeder bus or walk. Very convenient.
Breakfast not included.
free shuttle bus to Shinjuku station. There was a very nice chinese restaurant beside the 'hotel'.
Everything else. Room had a terrible smell to it and was stuffy. We could not control temperature or air flow of the room. The bathroom smelled terrible and we made several complains every morning about it (we stayed there for 4 nights!) and staff did pretty much nothing! Just kept saying they would get the cleaners to clean it. DID NOT HELP. Didn't even provide a bathroom spray of some sort of deodorizer! Laundry area was together with smoking area.So the place stank of cigarette smoke and completely turned us off wanting to use the area. Basically, it was rated here as 3 stars and in my opinion is only a half star hotel. The backpackers we stayed at the couple nights before was so much better! For the price we paid, this place was completely not worth it. We wanted to leave and check-into another hotel after the first night! =(
Free Shuttle bus service to and from Shinjuku station is great. Staff were very helpful and we would highly recommend this hotel to others.
The ventilation in the room needs some serious improvements
Shuttle bus services.
The hotel is quiet and clean, busy and well managed.
The free shuttle bus service Cleanliness of room Housekeeping was careful when it comes to cleaning our room (did not throw away any items which they are unsure of) Courteous and helpful staff
The shuttle bus operation hours (there was a break in between where we had to lug our luggage to the hotel by train and foot, up long flight of stairs). The distance from the train station
Lovely room and very helpful staff especially Eric. Many thanks for all your help. Laundry facilities and lots of vending machines for food and drinks.Excellent breakfast to suit all tastes.
They are friendly & helpful
Maybe the breakfast in the restaurant near the hotel... not that good not that japanese either.
The hotel needs to be refurbrished. The requirement to leave the room key at the reception every time leaving the hotel is annoying. In 2014 they should definitely have key-cards.
Everything was very clean, the staff doesn't speak much English but they were always trying to help. It is really well located and there is a shuttle you can take from th station.
It was a bit hard to communicate with the staff.
Loved the helpfulness of the staff and their attempt at using English to help us. We also loved the Chinese restaurant next door
There was nothing we didnt like except the spa as not working
Convenient and good hotel shutter to the Shinjuku station. Generally, staff are friendly and helpful.
The JR map is in black and white which is hardly readable. Please provide a colour copy in future. Also, should provide map of Tokyo & Shinjuku in English. Should include more English channels in TV eg Discovery Channel.
Shuttle bus is always on time,
shuttle bus to station
room needed decorating, only one chair-no room for another,no wardrobe or drawer space and the smallest "bathroom" ever. overall a pretty dingy room
Although the hotel was about a 15-20 minute walk from Shinjuku they had a shuttle that ran 3 times per hour which was very convenient. We paid a little extra for the larger room - it was really nice to have that extra space since we were there for 4 nights (most rooms in Tokyo are very small and cramped). We were there during a typhoon and you wouldn't have known - the room was so quiet. We had an amazing view over the park across the street and of the Tokyo Government Building on the other side (other hotels in Tokyo I have stayed at have only had a view of the sides of other buildings). The staff were also very helpful. They also have some washers and dryers if you need to do some laundry.
Sometimes we had problems with the internet connection.
this hotel has a very comfort and clean room. The bathroom also very neat and clean, still the same as 7 years ago when I stayed at this same hotel.
But with the price that not cheap, it was not include breakfast.
We were very pleased with the attentive staff and the facilities at the hotel. It was our second visit and we had a room with a view of the park this time instead of a wall, which gave a total 5 star feel to our stay. Well done on all fronts.
Coming from Australia it's a bit exhausting having a 3 pm check in when the flight arrives at 7 am. We were kindly allowed our room at 1 pm.
The friendly and helpful staff, the shuttle-bus service to and from the Shinjuku station, the buffet breakfast, value for money, location of hotel, good housekeeping, staff can communicate in English! Non interfering staff, overall a pleasant stay. WILL RECOMMEND hotel to others and look forward to coming back! Thank you!
At breakfast buffet tinned fruit. Please put fresh fruit and better variety. Only fresh grapefruit everyday and rest tinned fruit - not good. PLEASE include a buffet dinner. After a long day, one comes back tired and needs food. Provide adapter plugs for charging cellphones, cameras, etc. Provide some normal tea in the rooms-not used to Japanese tea! Some hooks on bathroom door to hang clothes, bigger kettle in room.
Clean rooms, efficient service staff.
Wished the shuttle bus service would stretch a little later to 10pm or 1030pm. And perhaps a bigger bus during peak hours as there were guests who had to wait for the next shuttle bus or could not get on the last bus.
