Nearness& direct access to shinjuku stn,
We stayed there during the winter month the rooms are not well ventilated, too stuffy and hot
window so small
Triple room a bit small, and has a very small window.
The worse internet connection I've ever tried!!
accessible to everything, near convenience stores, train station, bus station
room space quite small for an extra person or companion
option to have air conditioning or heater in your controller, few elevator functioning during rush hour like going up or down to 25th floor for breakfast and going down to check out specially with baggages, rooms very small.
Excellent location to top tourist spots. Great being able to get buses to/from either airport at door. Quiet night's sleep. Easy machine checkout.
Fortunately only on 4th floor otherwise i think wait for lift might be troublesome especially at busy morning time.
Slow elevators ; far from station ; surly staff
comfortable bed, good wifi coverage in room and friendly staffs.
Room heater is too warm & windows are not able to open. Lift is too slow & always pack with people.
It was beyond my expectation. The triple room was spacious enough with 3 super single beds and we had great sleep.I am grateful to the staff for switching my room to non-smoking as I only managed to book smoking online. The responses via email were mainly in the same day..so quick. The shower pressure was great and having Family and Mart on the ground floor and 7E round the corner were a boon. To top it, there was this old couple selling ramen at the corner at night. And if we still could walk more, there were a whole lot if restaurants some 15 mins away. The train station at Tochomae was a quick walk past the Tokyo Metropolitan Building
Only gripe is no shopping around the hotel.
Location View from room
No individual air con Hot and stuffy room Slow wifi Dusty room
The building the hotel is located in, also has a 7-Eleven convenience store and some restaurants.
We got a smoking room, not recalling being asked what we wanted. We didn't bother to change rooms though. Walls are pretty thin, you can hear neighbors quite well.
pillow and bed are not comfy
I can see the manager which is hardly possible in hotel of better standard.
Staff were helkpful (within reason), good left luggage facilities
The lifts! The hotel caters mainly to large groups from Taiwan... and only two lifs seem to work at any one time which means in the morning, there ca be a long wait to go down or up. The hotel also has a fairly complicated checking-in process.
Great bed location great wifi in room ok.
Room way too hot for fall. No aircon. Window was painted so couldn't see out. Had to ask to get the window open as so warm inside. They did come up straight away. I'm not sure I would stay here again.
Not working. It was blowing out hot air for the whole night.
Staff very helpful (within company imposed limits), good left luggage facilities.
The lifts!!! The hotel caters for large tour groups and some of the lifts are periodically not functional, this imposes long waits in the morning especially... the check-in / check out procedures are quite frankly odd. Computer access in the lobby is paying (unusual in Japan), long queues for breakfast (but then there are plenty of places outside) and, finally, the fact that the room rates seem to change from day to day according to the planned arrival of large tour groups...
The staffs were very friendly -- they try their best to extend their help to make our stay more comfortable, e.g. offering to give us a ride to the cable car station, offering to have our luggages delivered to Hakone-Yumoto station so that we can enjoy our trip. The food served during breakfast and dinner is splendid and delicious! We got the room with the private hot spring, and it was truly a relaxing trip for me and my newly wed husband.
The location of the place was difficult to locate. If it weren't for a kind stranger who offered us a ride, we would not have been able to find it. Another point is that the signboards for Nounou were written in Japanese -- difficult for foreigners.
Slow internet connection Pillows
Limousine bus from hotel.
A bit far from subway station.
Hotel is well located, very clean and modern. Room was spacious and Wifi was good, but not great! Staff seemed friendly.
Location, it was clean,
The location is excellent. Close to attractions, restaurants. The area is quiet, not too busy.
One room was on a smoking floor and smelled like it. One room, on a high floor, had a frosted, milky window - i.e. no view. No breakfast included.
Coming Narita airport, hotel is part of the airport limousine bus route n you are brought right in front of the hotel. Walking distance from shinjuku hotel. Very accessible and safe
