Traditional japanese minshuku
A little to much suff in the corridors
everything, nice view, japanese style room and bath.
We spent 3 nights at Komadori Sanso at Mt Mitske. Our hosts were very friendly, informative and the home cooked Japanese meals wete brilliant. We would highly recommend at stay at Komadori Sanso, the traditional style rooms, onsen and grat views of Tokyo from our room were a highlight of our trip to Japan. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese experience within easy reach of Tokyo Komadari Sanso is a must. Dave and Anna from Melbourne, Australia
We liked everything about our stay
Mr Yoshihiko was very accommodating and spoke good English. His hotel is well run and has good facilities. My room was very clean and had a magnificent view of the mountains. In the morning, he can take you to perform a traditional Shinto practice called Takiygo - an experience to be tried by the adventurist!
I didn't stay long enough to enjoy this place.
1. The variety and tasty food catered. 2. Extra service extended - free shuttle to cable car station on raining day. 3. Hot water bag to warm up bed to ensure we are kept warm. 4. Hot water bath facility
The hotel is at the top of Mt.Mitake, over looking the beautiful mountain. At the top your surrounded by traditional Japanese homes, very old cedar trees and steps away from a shrine. The area is surrounded by other mountains, and if you walk towards Mitake station you will pass by one of the most famous rivers in Japan full of fresh water from the mountains. Very easy to get to via cable car or you can arrange for a pickup at seven eleven beside Mitake subway station. I took my mom there for her birthday, and it was the best birthday she has had in 54 years, and I can assure you I'll be visiting this hotel once again.
The top floor hallways and bathroom was cold, but that's self explanatory during the winter.
- Extremely kindly owner, very helpful. - Great Japanese-Style bath - Excellent dinner and breakfast - Lovely atmosphere, very quite environment.
