the loft bed concept is nice let down by a few bad design choices, at least in our room - the mains socket is positioned just where your head should be, a low ceiling jutting out is guaranteed to have you hit your head at night or when you wake in the morning, with so much space freed up downstairs the toilet really could be seperated from the shower and maybe worst of all the window by the bed opens such that it would be easy to imagine a phone/ laptop/ baby or small child falling straight out to fall however many storeys to the ground.
That said it fit our needs and we were really happy with it overall.
It's very cheap, so you expect it to be minimal and it is but it's fairly well presented, the exterior is smart and it has pretensions at clean minimal design ala muji tho it's not quite there, but still, it's a fun concept, sort of one up from a capsule hote - you get a loft bed with a steep ladder like being on the top bunk, below is shower toilet and a little desk plus a hairdryer. There's a tv positioned high above the door to be viewed from the bed and an air con. Free wifi code is provided on every floor and little Brompton-clone folding bikes are available for ¥100 per hour which was great.
Staff were helpful and charged us 3 hours for our 3 hour and 53 minute bike hire. A drinks vending machine doles out free drinks to all guests and there are a couple of computers available for free internet access.
