Hotel Strix Tokyo is ideally located, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and with a large department store just opposite for shopping.

Each of the well appointed rooms has its own look, making sure that Strix Hotel appeals to all tastes. The interiors are attractive, including the Potbelly Bar, which is modeled after the British style.

Take a short walk and discover shopping and culture in the vibrant Ikebukuro centre. Return and write home about it using the free in-room internet access.

After a day’s sightseeing from this excellent location, enjoy the tasty meals of the Jade Garden Restaurant.

The toiletry supplies included a disposable razor, which is great considering razors are not allowed in carry-on luggage (it's the only way I fly...). The room was always clean, and there is a delightful soft chime music that plays in the hallways. Would be great to have wifi connection, and not just an ethernet cable. For my laptop, it means I had to bring an extra adapter (luckily I knew it before I arrived).	10

The personnel was very helpful especially when they helped me book the rest of my trip. The breakfast wasn't very good. Japanese style one is ok, but western style is not very nice. Good coffee though!	10

It took some time and effort to be moved to a non-smoking room. As a non-Japanese speaker I asked at the desk if they could help me to find an address of a shop based on a telephone number, no luck. I asked for contemporary art galleries, no luck.	5.5

If there were a problem, they found a solution in no-time. There were also internet from a LAN kabel in the room, just perfekt. The breakfast were not the biggest event of the day, so if you want a big breakfast you got to go out - the first restaurants open at 5am so it shold not be a problem.	8

La relación calidad-precio: algo caro para el tipo de habitación y que algunas bombillas de la habitación estaban fundidas y no se repararon en la semana de estancia.	6
