No sound insulation in capsule area. Could get no sleep. Wifi was weak or often dropped out completely. Strange key swapping system for leaving and returning to hotel. Far too overpriced for what you get
good location, can even walk back from shinsaibashi. everything provided with good quality. (even facial wash is provided)
capsule is really too small like u have to bend when u want to get in
Capsule system bathing facilities ease of use
matras too thin for 120 kg length should be 200 cm but s actually shorter, at 1.95 you have to sleep diagonally
The capsules are pretty big, you have a personal locker and a space enough for your luggage on the top. The bathroom facilities are fantastic, not too many tourists, is pretty private. the location is really good and the wifi in the capsules is strong. there is laundry and drier on the 3rd floor and it is cheap.
you must leave everyday between 10 am and 2 pm, so no sleeping late. my capsule had some hairs from the previous person staying means they didn't do a through out cleaning before someone new came. the 3rd floor where the laundry machines and the smoking area is present is a spa place for men. i actually saw some naked man but didn't bother me much.
Near station JR
Good lication, near subway station and friendly front desk.
Bath Sauna Location
Internet wasn't working sometimes Room cleaning at 10:00 (but this is stated in the description so I guess I knew what was coming)
The staff were extremely accommodating.
The lockers provided were far, far smaller than expected, especially since the lockers provided were not what is pictured for the location. Not being able to store my luggage in the locker was a real annoyance.
A capsule hotel of superb quality. The capsule are the standard size, quite roomy for me (an average asian girl). Amazing bathroom facilities, clean and prepared everything for you. 3min walk to Nagahoribashi and 8-10min walk to shinsaibashi subway station. Quite convenient indeed.
The pods are quite comfortable and spacious. The staff were courteous and friendly at all times. Located in Shinsaibashi, the hotel puts you equidistant to pretty much everything in Osaka and you're right on the Midosuji line.
There is no ventilation on the floors, which means it gets hot and stays hot. We sweated in our pods most of the two nights rather than slept. Also, the pervasive stench of cigarette smoke made it difficult to sleep.
A capsule hotel of amazing quality!!! Particularly the bathrooms -- very clean and very well equiped (hairdryers, face soap and lotions) and they provide you with 3 towels and a night gown for free. loved it. Location is convenient! Nagahoribashi subway station is only 3min walk. Shinsaibashi is 8-10min walk away and great for shopping. And the receptionist has been very helpful and professional, even though their english is limited.
Curfew from 10-2pm and put everything in the locker room OR the luggage room everyday. But this is a common rule for capsule hotels.
Clean and best location near subway
Staff speak English and was very helpful. It´s a regular capsule hotel, clean, worth the money.
Paper towels ended in the morning.
Too hot in the room, no air, short capsule.
Very friendly and helpful staff, though I speak Japanese fluently so I don't know how it would be as a "normal" foreigner. Very clean and nice facilities. Also I fit into the capsule without any problem, despite being well over the Japanese average height for women (175cm). Close to subways and Shinsaibashi, close to Nikko Hotel where you can take the airport shuttle to Kansai International Airport.
Very thin mattresses, and way to hot A/C for me, but that is how they like it in Japan so I'm not surprised.
Sauna and Japanese common bath on the 10th floor. Lockers for valuables and some clothes on sleeping floor, backpack could be stored at the reception. Capsules were clean, tv in capsule (didnt actually try it). Had to see this Japanese piece of 'culture', but one night was enough for me. Price at ¥3.750 was reasonable including breakfast.
Capsule barely long enough for my 1.88m, but doable. Not so quiet: snoring people and capsule tv's left on the whole night by some. Quitte warm, saw on the thermometer on the floor 28 degrees Celcius in the morning. Toilets smelled like urine. Wifi only on 2nd floor (reception) and 3rd floor (recreational room), not in the capsules on the 6th floor.
Nice place, very clean, well located, closed to 2 metro station and close to shopping mall and restaurant (5 min walking). Cabine are confortable, TV, air conditionner, radio, phone charger etc... Bathroom very clean, everything is included (shampoo, shower soap, conditionner, toothbrush, hair dryer...).
Too nosy ! People arrive late (around 12PM) and wake up very early (around 6:30AM), so don't expect to stay in bed too long or to have a very quiet night...
close to the tourist attractions
Very friendly and polite staff. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel v much. You can not get much value in my opinion. I stayed in capsule for 6 nights, and it was great. Communal shower / bath/ sauna fantastic. Very clean. You get complimentary shampoo, shower gel, and disposable toothbrush and razor. I loved the experience. Location is great. 30 - 40 min walk to namba area. The only downside is that I was not able to access WiFi due to poor signal, and the internet pcs are not free to use. But for the price U can not moan. U can watch free tv in capsule and it is warm. Can take a while to get used to. The hotel allowed me extend my stay at last minute. They really helped me out :) So extra bonus points. I would def book again.
Could not access WiFi from capsule.
They shut the ac off at 6am as a way to kick you out. With a room of 20 girls in capsules it got hot fast.
close to subway station. close to shopping & restaurants.
Quite fun and unique experience
A little confusing from train station, but manageable
Overall a decent experience. The capsules were bigger than i thought. The spa and bathing facilities are great :) they have razors, combs, shampoo, soaps and lotions and toothbrushes that don't need toothpaste! A very japanese place, all japanese customers, a very japanese experience.
1. it makes no mention on this site of whether bathing time is restricted - so keep in mind - it is! 2.30PM til 2.30AM, and men only. 2. minimal english. its confusing where to get the bath robes and towels from (top floor). there is a separate locker room away from the capsule. whenever you need something you have to get up and walk around whilst trying not to disturb others. 3. lockers are tiny, enough room for a sports bag and to hang a jacket. take out what you'll need for the night and leave your luggage at reception. 4. i'm 5 foot 11, which is about as much as the capsule can take.
Very clean and well-supplied bathroom facilities, locker system, good location. Overall, a good first capsule hotel experience.
English proficiency level of the staff was not always sufficient. Only WiFi in the lobby.
