Swissotel Nankai Osaka

De locatie vlak aan Namba (subway) station en de treinverbinding naar Kansai airport is uitstekend voor Internationale reizigers die na een lange vlucht snel hun hotel willen bereiken. Goed hotel maar vrij prijzig.

Vrij duur ontbijtbuffet.

The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Housekeeping was very efficient and serious. Rooms have good view of the city. Direct train to / from the airport didn't even have to come out of the station. Bell service would help to pick up / drop off luggage from the train. One of the best locations in town. Good for dinning and shopping.

The entrances of the hotel are not very noticeable. Main entrance / lobby can only be reached by car or taxi. Lobby is at the 6/F and need seperate lifts to go down to street level. Again, no clear indication to these lifts location.

only this hotel out of 3 that i have stayed in this trip still has no complimentary inroom internet. the other 2 hotels i stayed are nikko kansai and granvia hiroshima.

The staff was very helpful particularly with giving directions and they speak good English

The hotel is really well placed for Namba and offers luxury in the rooms. We did not use any other facilities as they were expensive.

The location was great! I was a bit concerned about which subway station is the hotel located above (there are three Namba stations in the vacinity), but just take the Midosuji line and get off at Namba, then follow the sign for the airport transfer (just look for the airplane sign) to reach the hotel. There are so much shopping and dining options around the hotel, and a post office around the corner of the hotel where you can make international ATM withdrawal. The JR-namba station is also close by (10 mins on foot), perfect if you want to take the direct train to Nara. The view from the hotel was fantastic, it's so rare that you get to have a spectacular city view like this when staying at hotels. Room were quite big for Japanese standard.

Internet was not free, strange for an international chain...

Convenient location.

1. Service in restaurant very slow, eg, during breakfast there were only 3-4 employees available to tend to a full house restaurant. 2. Very slow in refilling the buffet spread. 3. Room service took a very long time and food arrived cold in room. 4. Toilet has black mold and chipped paint.

We like the location of the hotel,because it is very convenient to go anywhere,And it is easy to reach Nankai Airport from Namba Station by Express Train.

we booked a non smoking room but they gave us the smoking one,so we asked to move then they changed our room on the next day.
