Sweet little place near lake, all the features that japan offers signifies in japanese weaving such as temari( ancient japanese balls) . Staff are kind, thoughtful, friendly.
the staff are polite and kind, the view from the bacony is excellent. You can walk to the Art Museum for the sunset. The room is comfortable, clean and large. Close to the Mastue Tour Bus station.
There are not much restaurants nearby.
Not too far from the station. Lovely view from the room and not a big commercial hotel. The staff spoke very little English, which was good if you wanted to practice your Japanese! The breakfast was one of the best Japanese ones I tasted. Fabulous dining room. They bedroom had these covered heater things over the low table which was so warm and the basin was the most beautiful large pottery bowl. I thought it was a lovely place to stay and Matsue castle was the best I saw in Japan.
Don't be late for breakfast. Punctuality is a very Japanese thing to the minute and I'm always late.
a truly Japanese experience
The staff were helpful and considerate, even though we speak very little Japanese. The onsen was good and the food was delicious.
Some noise from the road came into the room.
A typical Japanese style hotel with nice large tatami rooms and futon bedding. Nice onsen. Good local cuisine.
Stuck between railway tracks and a busy road, couldn't sleep without earplugs. Got a smoking room while requesting a non smoking one.
