Score from 719 reviews Good
some traffic noise to 6th floor
The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone wanting to travel around Tokyo. Ikebukuro Station provides direct access to many tourist destinations such as Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku etc. You rarely have to change trains since the station has both JR line and 3 subway lines running to and from it. The hotel itself is also really nice. The room is clean, comfortable, and room size is good considering Tokyo standards. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again for my next visit.
Central Location. staff are very friendly and helpful Rates are good
Breakfast was good. Place worked perfect me..
Nothing really.. Worked well
really nice bathroom, deluxe shower great breakfast
If you are the one who is interested in Manga or Anime, especially for Otome Road near the Sunshine City, this hotel is placed between it and the Ikebukuro station, which is really convenient to go there. There are also McDonald and Auntie Anne's near the hotel. The room is beautiful and the breakfast is awesome. You can enjoy both of the Japanese or Western breakfast style.
My room is at the road site, so sometimes I can hear the siren sound in the night even I stay at the 10th floor, the top floor of the hotel.
Better noise insulation.
Noisy traffic noise.
Liked the bidet/toilet. Near many conveniences.
Buffet breakfast selection somewhat wanting for western tastes. Lack of any fresh fruit for instance.
The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
The staff was a bit rude when one of their staff made a mistake when I asked about an extension. They assumed I didn't understand Japanese but I did just not spoke it. They assumed that I had a misunderstanding with their staff. -.-
Location. Many dining options nearby. Basic but high quality breakfast.
My room is facing the street and sometimes it is a bit noisy. But I still managed to get a good sleep. Very small toilt but very comfy shower head.
the staff was really friendly! and the service was really awesome.
Superb location, very near to Ikebukuro train station. Will stay in this hotel for the next trip.
tv bigger is better
The location is just a few minutes walk from the ikebukuro train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Free coffee in the lobby all day and night.
Excellent location: walking distance from the Ikebukuro station, Sunshine City, big department stores, small shops, restaurants.
The room: small and no drawers for clothes.
the staff going the extra mile, all smiles and making you feel at home, breakfast with plenty of variety, plus, plus of every thing, shower facilities, bed subdued lighting, cannot praise enough.
Very well located, nice breakfast and free wifi
Small rooms and very rude staff
Nice and clean hotel, location is good. Breakfast buffet was great, exceeding expectations.
The room was tiny but that's to be expected in Tokyo for the price I guess. It had a very nice shower and the free breakfast was a nice touch. It was also very close to the station and easy to find, a big plus.
Very small room, my college dorm room was actually much larger.
close to JR station
quite small room for superior room 3 persons
Great location, free wifi and nice breakfast
Very rude staff at the front desk

distance from city center
The location was excellent for getting around Tokyo. The hotel and surrounding area was pleasantly noise-less at night.
The room temperature was too hot which made sleeping uncomfortable. In spring even though it was warm, the hotel had its heating on 24 hours and you couldn't change it or use air conditioning. Not all the rooms have windows that can be opened either.
Location short walk to ikebukuro st, which routed by jr yamanote (tokyo loop line). Clean hotel. Good breakfast.
Relatively small room. (But it might typically japan hotel)
nicely located and in really good shape (especially the bathroom). nice breakfast.
room was too small (couldn't fully open my suitcase without putting it under the bed).
