Good location, helpful staff and great concierge service.
Comfort hotel, big and nice room, free wifi
Concierge staff not helpful enough, when we ask for any restaurants recommend, they only give us a map nearly by the hotel which inculding most of the restaurants. And some of the concierge staff's english standard are not good enough to communicate.
It is a beautiful hotel and the room is quite tastefully decorated.
when I asked for a 2 hours late check out, the staff said no problem but with 30% of the daily rate's extra charge. I said no and thanks.
- The little personnel who apologises discreetly for the appalling behaviour of their arrogant and incompetent hierarchy.
This was our second stay so had high expectations. However, we came to realise very quickly that things had changed for the worse: - the hotel had a serious case of Norovirus (mass infection - 64 people) in April 2014 due to poor hygiene conditions. - All rooms are connected through a ventilation system which happened to be contaminated during our visit, likely due to poor cleanliness. - upon request to address the problem swiftly and professionally, our request was initially questioned by the hotel manager who acted with a certain disdain. - in the end, the only assistance received from housekeeping consisted in applying duck tape onto the ventilation system! Complete slacking! - poor command of English from personnel relative to other 5 star hotels in Tokyo. - a few lobby staff members are too busy chatting with their colleagues or pretending to be busy to actually welcome foreign visitors or guests (but not Japanese visitors/guests).
Everything! The huge room, panorama windows, modern and fab bathroom, service etc. They even left us a note and chocolates as it was a special occasion we were celebrating. Loved the bar and the lovely coctails as well. Only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is located in a more quiet area of Tokyo, but it is build on top of a subway station, which takes you to the busy areas in no time. This was the second hotel we stayed in during our holiday in Tokyo (we started in the busy Shinjuku) and it was just the perfect way to relax during the last part of our holiday. I would definetly recommend the Capitol!
The Wifi checks you out if you are inactive for even just a few minutes and you need to log in again every time (but this is minor, especially when you are not on a business trip)
Room product was good. Bed comfortable.
I travel over 250 nights per year staying in 5* hotels and have never come across such inflexible and unhelpful staff. The attitude of the hotel manager was exceptionally disappointing. On checking out another guest was complaining of similar things. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it no anyone! There aren't enough characters available to vent all my frustrations but this hotel left a very sour taste of what should have been a relaxing day in Tokyo.
Nice hotel with easy access to subway and all areas on taxi. Big rooms.
Breakfast - low value for money. In my opinion it's overpriced. For the price of buffee you can easily find good restorante in Ginza for lunch kr even dinner. No business centre available. I'll not consider that mouse corner as launge or busines centre
All the staffs are well-trained and really helpful.
The hotel sets at a quite community and is surrounded by many domestic departments. Things to do around the hotel is limited but the location is accessible to 4 metro lines so it is easy for you to go everywhere.
An amazing hotel with everything you could dream of. We only stayed one night but wish it was longer. Staff were very helpful, and the pool on level 15 was nice too.
The hotel is a little out of the way, but there is a subway station under the hotel that is connected to 4 major lines, so going places is no issue.
every thing is good metro station in the basement
they most increase the breakfast choices
Having to logon each time to use the wifi.
The room and view were fabulous! The steam shower with built in speaker system is amazing! The bed and linens are of highest quality. The box of "goodies" (toiletries) are a very nice touch. The pool and jacuzzi are also beautiful! The subway is located under the hotel which is so convenient.
A little too quiet for us but if you like peaceful this place is it. The pool was a little too restrictive and felt like we were being watched at all times. The restaurant that serves breakfast will set you back $42.
staff attention interior
location - quite far from Tokyo station when using subway from Tokyo station to the hotel bear in mind you'd have to walk a lot due to renovations in subway
Everything was good until I sought advice about using the baggage transfer stytem (Yamato). The senior Bell Captain advised that only one day was needed to get bags to Narita Airport. I questioned this but he was very clear. When I went to book bags through, he was not there and more junior staff said it was two days and would not accept our luggage. As a result, we had to travel with all our bags on a quick trip to Kanazawa and then to Narita which involved a number of quick train changes - a nightmre with all our bags. There must be consistency of advice.
Fantastic views. 3 Metro lines accessible directly from the hotel. Excellent wifi connection. Restaurants, supermarket and bakery in the basement of the hotel. Great area for dining and going out.
Breakfast buffet overpriced. No free shuttle to/form the hotel.
Amazing room - HUGE for Tokyo standards and excellent value for money Great staff 7-11 and cafe downstairs very convenient Subway immediately below
Expensive food in hotel Not easy walking to sites - need to subway everywhere
Clean Close to the subway Very friendly and helpful staff
I liked everything about my stay, service, greetings, location, accessibility, Subway lines, just everything.
I didnt like the fact, that they were willing to upgrade me to the exective floors, but because i wanted a smoking room they couldn't. Also, the Sauna, having to pay additional to use the Sauna and locker rooms in the GYM, was not logical at all. That is the only thing i did not like. Yes we can pay an additional 20$ to use but i just didn't like this part of the Hotel, only. All areas of the GYM should be available for all in house guests
The design is really very nice and the room is spacious. Very quiet which I like a lot.
This is an outstanding hotel. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and outstanding service. Location is just ok but with subway stop by elevator below hotel everything is easily reached. 7-11 with ATM in basement has all the small things you might want.
Extremely high priced restaurants in hotel.
The rooms were outstanding. I just wanted to hang out in my room all day. Location was pretty good as well. Transportation links were close and there are plenty of shops nearby.
