Large size room for Tokyo Nice view Direct access to metro Hotel design
Internet keep logging out
Everything - the welcome, the consideration of the staff, the room, the view, the location (quiet), the conveniencwe of the metro (underneath the hotel) - what more can I say...I wish we had the money to stay there everytime we are in Tokyo!
Stunning design Impeccable staff and service Rooms are well appointed and extremely thoughtful Views of Tokyo are incredible
The hotel lacks a vibe or any distinct energy. Often felt like no one was there. The room had an odd smell. Not terrible or really disturbing, but just strange and mildly unpleasant.
overwhelming hotel, stunning view on the skyline, direct access to the subway, NOTHING to criticise
Very nice and cosy rooms, classical music in corridors, subway entrance right in the hotel, rooms have a beautiful view over the city.
Shower/bath combination was wonderfully useful and designed heavenly. Service was good but I suspect that to be just about average of normal Japanese 5star hotel standard.
Service is great and stuff very professional. Rooms have good design and enough space. Definetely recommended for good memories about trip to Japan
Nothing that could spoil the feeling of comfort
Swimming pool Brilliant Bathroom Size of room Good location
Very expensive restaurant
Where do I start about this hotel? I have been to Tokyo three times and on this trip we booked the ultimate hotel- great staff, great breakfast (Western and Japanese), great rooms. The best of the lot? Our view of the city skyline, the fabulous beds and the enormous bathrooms with the biggest shower head we have every seen. We could not fault this hotel in anyway. Slick. The subway is located below in the basement and it is a short walk to all central train lines. We will be definitely be booking this hotel again on our next trip!
Facility View from the 27th Floor Location Friendly Staff Metro service under the hotel
You have to pay for late check-out. (though they are super nice to store your items and load them in taxi at the time of departure)
room style, bathroom, view from room, belldesk staff
strange smell in my room,location
Staff were brilliant in particular the Conceirge team who promptly and efficiently organised all my transfers and Tours.
Large size room, very clean, very helpful staff, peaceful and quiet yet central location on top of subway system so easy to travel.
Very swish minimalist classy hotel. BIG rooms (for Japan where rooms are generally tiny! - average sized for UK/US) and BIG pool (for Japan). Very central location and subway lines connect to the hotel directly which is handy. Great views of Tokyo too. Large extremely comfortable bed. Large breakfast selection with charming staff in the hotel generally. We paid for the CLUB rooms - FANTASTIC free bar and light bites enough to fill you up of an evening in the library lounge. DEFINITELY worth the extra money. We didn't end up going out for a meal both nights we stayed and saved a fortune!
Eggs benedict was a (hefty) supplement on the B&B rate but poached eggs weren't - bizarre! Not the cheapest hotel !
We stayed in the Deluxe King Room. From the moment we entered our room we were gobsmacked at how awesome the design and ambience was. Our room was perfect from size to details (lighting), compartmentalisation with the sliding doors, huge shower and bath, everything was perfect! Will definitely go back again. The most luxurious stay ever. Location is great if you use the subway and train lines as you can access the subway directly from B2 level of the hotel (all undercover) and the limousine bus option allowed a hassle-free transport back to the airport.
The in room dining and drinks were costly so we didn't utilise this service. Wifi was not ongoing. Each time we wanted to go online we had to retype the login and password. It is just a minor hassle but once connected wifi generally works well.
Amazing views of Tokyo in a lovely quiet part of the city. Service was impeccable and the facilities perfect.
Not enough Japanese style food at breakfast.
Terrific views -- I think the hotel rooms begin around floor 16, so every room should have a nice view Modern style -- Felt like a nice modern, master suite from a magazine more than a hotel room. Convenient -- Take an elevator to the subway. Also, there's a coffee shop near subway -- perfect for a quick breakfast.
Location is not perfect for sightseeing, but the subway is downstairs (you don't even have to go outside).
Atmosphere was just so inviting
1. decor - modern Japanese. Luxe but not excessive. very refined. 2. location - very central. 5 stops to Shibuya, 4 to Omotesando and 3 to Ginnza. 5 mins taxxi ride to Roppongi. Immediate surrounding of the hotel is in quiet business area yet 5 -10 min walk away are lively back lanes with all sorts of restaurants. We found this so convenient after a full day out and not wanting to take the Metro somewhere again. 3. spaciousness of the rooms (esp for a big city) 4. super Concierge team who booked several restaurants for us and gave great suggestions. Funnily, they were very helpful over the email prior to our visit but whenever I called the Concierge desk when I was there the service didn't seem to match.
- can't think of anything really. the wifi was spotty and they had to bring another router to the room - we were travelling as a family and would have liked interconnecting rooms but they only had that for the Permier Corner rooms -Concierge desk only opens from 10-6 which is not so helpful
Good location, helpful staff and great concierge service.
Comfort hotel, big and nice room, free wifi
Concierge staff not helpful enough, when we ask for any restaurants recommend, they only give us a map nearly by the hotel which inculding most of the restaurants. And some of the concierge staff's english standard are not good enough to communicate.
It is a beautiful hotel and the room is quite tastefully decorated.
when I asked for a 2 hours late check out, the staff said no problem but with 30% of the daily rate's extra charge. I said no and thanks.
- The little personnel who apologises discreetly for the appalling behaviour of their arrogant and incompetent hierarchy.
This was our second stay so had high expectations. However, we came to realise very quickly that things had changed for the worse: - the hotel had a serious case of Norovirus (mass infection - 64 people) in April 2014 due to poor hygiene conditions. - All rooms are connected through a ventilation system which happened to be contaminated during our visit, likely due to poor cleanliness. - upon request to address the problem swiftly and professionally, our request was initially questioned by the hotel manager who acted with a certain disdain. - in the end, the only assistance received from housekeeping consisted in applying duck tape onto the ventilation system! Complete slacking! - poor command of English from personnel relative to other 5 star hotels in Tokyo. - a few lobby staff members are too busy chatting with their colleagues or pretending to be busy to actually welcome foreign visitors or guests (but not Japanese visitors/guests).
Everything! The huge room, panorama windows, modern and fab bathroom, service etc. They even left us a note and chocolates as it was a special occasion we were celebrating. Loved the bar and the lovely coctails as well. Only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is located in a more quiet area of Tokyo, but it is build on top of a subway station, which takes you to the busy areas in no time. This was the second hotel we stayed in during our holiday in Tokyo (we started in the busy Shinjuku) and it was just the perfect way to relax during the last part of our holiday. I would definetly recommend the Capitol!
The Wifi checks you out if you are inactive for even just a few minutes and you need to log in again every time (but this is minor, especially when you are not on a business trip)
Room product was good. Bed comfortable.
I travel over 250 nights per year staying in 5* hotels and have never come across such inflexible and unhelpful staff. The attitude of the hotel manager was exceptionally disappointing. On checking out another guest was complaining of similar things. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it no anyone! There aren't enough characters available to vent all my frustrations but this hotel left a very sour taste of what should have been a relaxing day in Tokyo.
