The twin room is good, clean and comfortable. Good location between two underground stations!
Steep walk up a hill to the hotel, but there is another route with a lift.
The staff was great, the hotel itself was clean and modern. The room didn't feel small, other than lack of storage. The shower was nice, and the bed was comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.
It's at the top of a rather steep hill, so if you've been drinking all night and caught the last Metro train, it can be a bit of a climb. This is not the hotel's fault, of course.
Breakfast was good.
Room was smaller than I expected. Location was further from my office than I expected
Easy access to trains for moving about and restaurants nearby
Walls are paper thin. And you cannot control room temperature
Nicely located with decent neighborhood, close to subway station and easy to find taxi. Restaurants are within walking distance. Small, but amenities are complete.
Windows are leaking
Had everything needed in the room for a comfortable stay. Very close to transport and easy to get around.
A really nice area with tons to do and close to the subway (Chiyoda Line). Staff was great and spoke English well.
From the subway station to the hotel is a grueling uphill hike......but there is an elevator that I found that helps. Look for it behind Akasaka Blitz and Theater next to the TBS building. Breakfast was good but not great. This was our 3rd hotel in Japan and it was our least favorite breakfast but the most expensive.
Cleanliness Staff Shower
Air conditioning didn't work Location is a little out of the way Lots of hills to walk up
breakfast was good with nice variety of continental & japanese food, room size was ok, bathroom was big for japanese standards, well maintained, near by a metro station (once you found the easiest way to it), some nice restaurants in walking distance, calm area
Bathroom could be cleaner
I would recommend that if you intend to use the subway a lot go to the Big Camera shop next to the subway station on the main road and get a tourist subway pass its 1200 yen for 2 days travel covering both subway lines compared to if you get a day ticket from the machine which is 1000 yen for one day. You can pick this tourist pass up from various locations so best to either Google it before you go or as you arrive in Tokyo ask at there airport or the main train station about it. I think you can also get longer than 2 day passes. you can buy it in advance as does not activate until you start using it. Launderette on site you could use. Powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Black out blinds. With in walking distance of two subway stations. Restaurants/convenience stores within walking distance
They had turned the air-con to winter mode, so only warm air was coming out, could only open one window and not very wide so room was quite hot. For what you got it was quite expensive compared to other hotels. The front reception staff could be more helpful. Did not even have an English map, they did give us a guide book with maps of each area in it, but this was out of date and the prices in it wrong. bathroom is only separated from room by half frosted glass, we did not mind this but others might if you like your privacy. Think for the price we payed per night it was over priced, we paid nearly twice as much for this hotel as we did for the other hotel we stayed in, in Tokyo and there was not much difference. Need to clean under the beds No room for luggage
Everything was perfect...the quiet/clean room, comfortable beds, bathroom amenities, shower... and their 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby served excellent coffee!
The breakfast next door is not worth 1030 yen.
staff were friendly
a bit far from all the metro stations and you have to walk up hill to the hotel.
Grear staff, very helpful, exceptional service, spoke English, comfortable room, central location, tube station nearby, quiet location, I will be back! Thank you!!
The room was small, but everything what is needed was there. The wifi worked well, staff really friendly and helpful. Good location of the hotel, in more business area but very close to metro station. Relatively close to shops and restaurants. On my next trip we would stay there again.
Ease of access, value for money.
Beds were quite hard.
It's not far from the subway. Very clean and nice interior design.
You need to climb a slope to reach the place (not convenient with luggage). After checking out we discovered that our flight has been cancelled because of a typhoon and the staff refuse to let us use the hotel phone to solve the problem (they claim that we had already checked out).
Close to akasaka metro. Walking distance to roppongi neighborhood. Many convenience stores nearby.
Some staff--Not helpful and limited English did not help. Was given smoking room when I asked for non-smoking room. When I called front desk upon discovering my room smoking I was told there were no other available rooms. I asked politely "did I not specify non smoking room?"... Almost questioning myself if I had actually made the mistake of not specifying non smoking. I asked again if they can try to find another room for me and was given the curt answer "I said no". This could have been due to their lack of English but as a guest who was tired and had just flown many hours from the US and was ready to for a rest, i felt the staff was quite rude and unwilling to budge. Due to my exhaustion and just not being in the mood for a fight I almost convinced myself to accept the room opening the 2 small windows hoping to air it out until sitting inside for 5 minutes gave me a headache. I went back to check my booking saw that I DID ask for non smoking room. I had to personally go down to the front desk and show my booking request on my phone (even with this they were not willing to help me asking me if they can just spray the room with air freshener) and tell them I was having a headache already just staying 5 minutes in the room did they finally find another room for me. I was asked to move my bags myself from the smoking room to my new room and there was no apology or even explanation how this mistake happened. The night staff made me feel that I was inconveniencing her. The otherwise perfect location, great coffee at their lobby, clean rooms were ruined by this one staff. I was very calm the whole time, (and I normally approach such situations a LOT differently) never insistent, asking them to try anything they can I would accept anything as long as it was non smoking, and yet there was no effort to meet me halfway. The change that was finally made felt like it was made grudgingly.
Well equipped rooms (although a bit tiny), friendly staff, close to the akasaka nightlife and the metro, free coffee in the lobby, excellent matrazes and pillows.
The hotel is located on a hill - if one arrive by metro getting the luggage to the hotel can be a kind of a hazzle, rooms a bit tiny
Friendly staff Clean room Hotel located in a nice area, close to subway, shops, restaurant and bars good value for money
The room was clean, bath amenities were awesome, shower was excellent. The bed and pillows were very good too, wifi was fast. Nice location for exploring Tokyo, a few blocks from subway. Sleeping was good too, silent place, air conditioning worjed perfectly.
Not exactly that I didn't like it, but breakfast was repetitive. I had it for two days, same options, in the third day I just went elsewhere.
Great location, friendly staff, very clean
Walking distance to the nearest akasaka station. Quiet neighbourhood Plenty of eateries, restaurant with walking distance
Non negotiable check-in time even if the rooms will be available and non negotiable slightly later check out time
More big room.
Good location close to Roppongi and Mid-Town
Great Location, near a lot of food options, close to the Akasaka subway station, heated toilet!
Small Shower (If you're over 5'9" good luck taking a shower...)
