Tokyo Plaza Hotel  

Location near transit center.

Not used to size of rooms. Small spaces utilized efficiently.

Staff was super helpful with anything! Recommended trips from personal experiences, offered umbrellas on rainy days, helped uncommom requests and even kept me company when I was sitting in the hotel cafe alone one day, chit chatting. Extremely close to the station, on which the Yamanote line stops. Has countless of good restaurants and shopping possibilities, especially if you are into Korean things as Shin Okubo is Korean Town. The hotel also have the famous electronic toilets. For k-pop fans, some rooms have posters plastered all over them, but this is not the majority. For JYJ fans, one member has previously stayed at this hotel and you can go sit in the same spot as him in the cafe. You will recognize it with all of the pictures. Unlike many other hotels in Japan, they do not have a curfew. They provide towels, shampoo, soap, hairbrush, razor, toothbrush, slippers, hairdryer etc!

Entrance from the door to the lobby is a flight of stairs that are not very convenient for travellers with exceptionally heavy suitcases. The shower is a combined shower/bathtub and may get very slippery when using hair conditioner.

Very friendly staff, and very helpful with our needs. The place is clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is small, but very nicely cooked, and tasty.

Bathroom is very small, no rooms to move around. A bit noisy sometime at night, since its on the main street. Have to take my luggage up a set of stair first before I get to the front desk.

Close proximity to station and Shinjuku.

No kettle or any tea/coffee.

Its location near to lots of eateries, convenience stores and the Shin-Okubo subway station. Bed and room are decent sized and very comfortable.

The flight of stairs leading to the lobby especially if you have big or plenty of luggages. Also the over-priced coffee (JPY420) at their Mui-Mui coffee house.

There is a bar downstairs called Muimui. It is awesome! Everyone in this area is Korean and it was fun to talk to other foreigners in Japanese about living here in Japan. Definitely would stay again! Really close to the Yamanote line so it was easy to traverse the city.

房间算是这个价位里面比较大的了，床大，也有地方放箱子。交通很方便，在大久保站和新大久保站之间。附近便- 利店药妆店餐馆都很多，多晚都有的玩。

wifi无法做到全覆盖。我们住在1403房间，屋内完全没有wifi信号，只能蹲在楼道里上网。

新大久保に初めて泊まりました。 韓流好きの人にとっては、遅めですが、子供連れという事もあり、やや不安でしたが、Tokyo Plaza Hotelに泊まって、良かったが、倍増しました！ フロントの女性スタッフも優しいし明るい！！！ フロント前にあるラウンジは、優しく気の利いたイケメン揃い！！！ 料理も美味しかったです。 次も、ここに決まりです！！！

Near Shinjuku by walking distance. (too much) animated place.

If you like noisy people without education, the hotel is for you as it is for them. The hotel offers the same service as a Love Hotel : possible rest for 3 hours... you know what I mean.

A localização do Hotel junto a estação Shin-Okubo da Yamanote Line da ferrovia JR, que faz um circulo completo em torno de Tokyo, garante acesso fácial a toda a rede de Metro, Narita Express e Shinkansen. Basta ter na mão um Suica Card e você domina a cidade de ponta à ponta.

Na rua lateral do Hotel, existe uma movimentação noturna de abastecimento das Lojas e Restaurantes, que vai até umas 2 hrs. da manhã, com algum ruído dos carregadores. A rede Wi-Fi do Hotel é boa, mas o sinal um tanto fraco.

Very bad and expensive hotel

４月始めて新大久保に行き、時間が足りず、次の機会は、是非当地でホテルをとりたいと思ってました。インタ- ーネットで探して決めた一番は、大好きなアーチストの 部屋があるというところでした。ただ当日までその部屋かは分かりませんでしたので チェックインの時、その部屋だとお聞きし、年甲斐もなくうれしく思いました。 スタッフの方々も、とっても気持ちのこもった応対をしてくださり、次の機会も是非泊めて いただこうと思っています。ありがとうございました。 　ホテル内に喫茶とバーがあり、早い時間も、遅い時間も安心して入れるのが最高でした。店主の奥様と、従業員- の方たちの応対も、ホテルの方たち同様優しさにあふれて 楽しく過ごさせていただきました。驚いたのは、みなさんの日本語がお上手で、大変な努力をされたことに頭が- 下がります。

好きなアーチストの部屋でしたので、できればそのグループだけの写真にしてほしかったです。今は、５人から- ２人と３人になっていますので、そんな部屋に分かれていれば なお嬉しいです。 今一緒に行きたいと言ってる友人は、チソンのファンです。そのうちそんな部屋が できたら友人は喜ぶでしょうが、、、、 私は、３人のお部屋ができたら最高に嬉しいです。

One of the only hotels we found that could accommodate a family in one room. We had a 3 bed but in fact the single bed was big enough for me and my young 3 year old whilst my husband and 7 year old shared the double bed. The Room was simple, but clean and quiet, staff very friendly and the cafe served breakfast and offered free self service tea in the afternoon and a place to sit.

The pillows were like rocks!

駅から近く、コンビニも近くにあるし、マツモトキヨシも百円均一も近くて便利でした。 部屋は狭いけど、キレイだったし良かったです。

五人で泊まったので、ツインとトリプルを予約したのだけどチェックインの時に二人づつ二部屋で予約になって- いると言われた。トリプルで予約ってことは三人じゃない？それにトリプルといってもダブルベッドとシングル- ベッドで三人らしい。説明をよく読んでなかったのはいけなかったが、ちょっと驚きました。 たいしたことではありませんがエレベーターの扉が閉まるのがすごく速いので、複数で乗り込む時は『開く』ボ- タンをすぐに押したほうがいいですよ(笑) いろいろありましたが、また利用したいです♪

Avec 2 enfants en bas âge, aucun problème de place. Personnel sympathique et petit déjeuner anglais suffisant. Chambre propre.

On peut effectivement laisser les bagages pour la journée ou l'on part mais seulement jusqu'à 15h. Un peu court si on veut vraiment profité de la journée entière nous avons donc opté pour les consignes de la gare de Tokyo. Un peu bruyant le soir parfois ...

Room was very small for a family. Extremely noisy the nights we stayed, kids could not sleep.
