Tall-good views if you get the right window! The staff were very friendly and helpful, though knew hardly any English. Good tea/coffee/drink/beer facilities downstairs. Close to the station and to two huge department stores - if you've forgotten that annoying item (comb, face towel) you can get one nearby. The rooms are tiny (though that's normal for Japan, and especially the Tokyo area) but well laid out and powerfully air-conditioned. Mcdonalds and KFC close by, if you don't understand any Japanese. A few other resturants are in the area serving Japanese food (no conveyor-belt sushi that I could find, though), some are open 24 hours. They are a bit of a walk, but it's Japan, so you can stroll over any time you like in perfect safety. There's also a great bookshop near the station with used comics for 100 yen.

Central Tokyo is a bit of a trek (you'll see Asakusa station a lot), and most of the trains that run there from the nearby station are local, and take a long time. This can eat into your day, so don't try to cram too much in like I did! On the plus side Shin-Kamagaya station is on a direct line from Narita and Haneda Airports. You can't check in until 4, but you can leave cases at the hotel until then. The hotel "serves breakfast", but this appears to be pot noodles (though I never ate it, as cheap meals can be had not too far away). The laundry area is a "compartment" at the back of the lobby which is extremely cramped. There's also no English on the machines but they're fairly easy to work out (they seem to be standard in several Japanese hotels, so you may have seen them before anyway). The TV doesn't seem to get many channels, unless you buy pre-paid cards. But I couldn't understand them anyway!

部屋も広かったし、ベッドもセミダブルサイズで良かった。 また、以前に隣の六実に住んでいて、地理的にも 全く不自由なく、駅から近いのが一番でした。
