Quiet area, clean room, cheap
The king double room is really roomy comparing with many other hotels in Tokyo, clean room, nice staff, basic breakfast included
Bathroom a little small but that is usual in Tokyo.
Like the other Toyoko Inns, it's very well located and clean. Although the room is a little small, but considering what you got, it's still worthy. PS, there's free breakfast, also!
Room is a little small
Shuttle service to the Tokyo train station, very convenient if carrying heavy luggage. Breakfast was included. Very well located.
Wifi only worked in the lobby. Room had a strange smell (like smoking room cleaned to be non-smoking room)
Hotel was a quick walk from the nearest train station. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast included freshly made food from the kitchen and was delicious!
We had a great stay at this hotel! Starting with the nice welcome by one of the staff (I forget his name right now, Shu something, I guess...) who speaks very good English and is super helpful! We stayed in a king standard room, with a very comfortable (king size, as the name states) bed and nicely decorated. There's not a lot of space in the room as usual in Tokyo hotels, but you can easily store your suitcases under the bed. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided and the towels are changed daily (we stayed there for 4 days). Wi-fi works perfectly and the free shuttle to Tokyo station is sooo handy! There are many train stations around the hotel, and thanks to the super nice boy at reception we were able to catch an express train to Haneda airport from a nearby station with no hassles. The breakfast is far from being great, but the hotel is no doubt great value for money. Highly recommended!
Maybe the breakfast could be improved a bit, but it wasn't an issue at all. Food in Japan is just amazing - and affordable - so we didn't mind buying something extra mid morning to keep us going =)
staff, value for money
a bit out of the way, but still close to subway
clean and reasonable
4 pm check in is too late, if we try to check in at 3 pm they charge additionally, also they insisted that we get their membership card so we can do early check in, but this comes at 15 dollars cost. mainly small money games, I didnt like.
Location 5min to metro station, wi fi in rooms
Check in time too late, wc was not very clean
clean and comfortable with helpful staff.
smallness of rooms.
Free breakfast was good (riceballs, miso soup, salads, sausages, croissants, meat balls, coffee, tea). Friendly staff.
Annoying music playing in the corridor right behind our room. Luckily it stopped after 10 p.m. :) Bed was a little bit harder.
Good value for money Nice and clean Close enough to CAT (City air terminal) You can easily get by limousine bus
Small room but nice and clean
Close to subway Helpfull staff Moviewatching in room for 500 yen Free breakfast
Small room Hard bed Not a lively neigbourhood, mostly for bussinesspeople
Close to all the different subway lines. English speaking staff. Basic Japanese breakfast. Great value for money.
No closet in the room.
Big room and free BF
I got a problem with payment. They do double payment from my 2 credit card.
This Toyoko-inn is a budget hotel located near the Kodemmacho metro station (Hibiya line) and the JR Bakurocho stop. Room size is ok, but we had the room next to the elevator, so we heard some noise during early morning. We arrived early, and we were allowed to leave our bags in the lobby.
Wifi should be in each room, but we were unable to use it in our room, it worked only in the lobby. Breakfast is included, but is only japanese-style (there's only a small basket of very low quality pastries as western-style breakfast). There are no remarkable restaurants or sites in the area We've stayed in far better places in Tokyo, we will not return to a Toyoko Inn
Good location and nice staff
A bit far from subway station and difficult to find. I need to turn on GPS all the time.
convenient location quiet neighborhood easy access helpful staff
Free shuttle to tokyo station, rooms very clean, free breakfast
Mattresses and pillows a bit hard
Room was quite spacious for its price. The are quite a few nice eating places within walking distance, and transport is also convenient as there are Metro and JR mrt stations nearby too.
Free breakfast, close to town.
Is not easy to find, but is not to hard. Staff needs a bit more of English been a hotel in Tokyo.
Friendliness of the staff, facilities and location
