A 10-minute drive from JR Hakuba-Oike Train Station, Kohgen Hotel has an indoor hot-spring bath, a sauna and massage services. Rooms are air-conditioned and include a private bathroom with a bathtub.

Guests can sleep in a Western-style room or experience traditional Japanese-style bedding, a futon on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. All rooms have a TV, a fridge and an electric kettle.

The hotel is 10 km from the Hakuba area. JR Nagano Train Station is a 90-minute drive, and on-site parking is free.

You can browse the gift shop when not hiking or skiing. Ski storage is offered and ski passes are sold. The lobby has free Wi-Fi.

Japanese breakfasts and multi-course kaiseki dinners are served. An advance reservation is required for dinner.
