location the staff guy in this apartment was the worst ever we met in our trip, disrespectful, Noisy, and try to get more money than we booked for !!!!

The other guests were kind and the hostel rules were good. This hostel does not provide CLEAN blankets (and even perhaps clean bed sheets and pillow cases?). When I arrived, the owner had mistakenly overbooked the hostel. Secondly, our beds were not ready, so he quickly took off the bed sheet and pillow case from my bed and folded the blanket, and left. I had to ask him to give me a new pillow case, which he did and then asked him to change the blanket (because the previous guest had used it and he just folded it up for the next guest - me). When I asked, he responded "Oh, you want a new blanket too?" Afterwards, he proceeds to a different dorm room and switched the used blanket for another blanket (which may have also been unwashed after previous use). Shouldn't it be a given, that all guests get CLEAN pillow cases, bed sheets, and blankets? Or maybe this hostel is ghetto, super-eco-friendly and likes to re-use USED linens. If that was the case, then that should have been specified on this page so I could have not booked a night at UK Osaka.

This is my second time in UK Osaka, the previous was 2 years ago. This time being again in Osaka I chose this hostel for the second time. It's a bit tiny, just like an ordinary 3-room flat, but it makes you feel at home. nothing has changed since my previous stay, it's still very clean in there, staff is always very helpfull (thank you Masa!) and location is really brilliant! Nice place to stay in!

Perfect spot, very cosy and friendly. The receptionnist and owner is very helpful and will answer all your questions. Sometimes he comes back from the grocery with fruits or icecreams for the clients! have a laundry machine, free! and a balcony to clean clothes, very quick in summer. Only 1 shower but it's okay because it is a small business, not so many people.
