very friendly and efficient staff. excellent breakfast - choose the Japanese breakfast not the western one
late check-in (16.00) and early check-out (10.00) but this is the way in Japan
location, very good experience for Japanese style living ,the front people speak good English and helpful, food there is great
when we check out ,they said they would charge our card by Union pay as agreed , but we got home and found out that they still charged it through visa, which is not very good
Staff are so helpfull and gave excellent service
The very good location and the beautiful japanese style room. The beautiful public bath open until late
The hotel is ridicolously overpriced and too oriented towards foreign tourists, it lacks the classic japanese welcoming and its warmth, also very similar to a hotel, much more than a ryokan. For this price I would expect at least a breakfast included. I was hoping to have it by paying for it, but it was not clearly specified by the staff that the breakfast had to be booked one day in advance. Only thing that could justify it is that the breakfast room is very small, but still they should have warned if it was sold out. Location is good but not enough to justify the price. Late check in and early check out requested (10 am) but this is a staple in Japan
* Friendly staff * Excellent, but pricy, traditional dinner * Excellent public bath
