Convenient location; close to convenience stores, airport transport and train line to Kyoto. Great local walks along river, and to castle and Osaka Station City.

Balconies need to be steam-cleaned of urban dirt; as, if you step on them at the moment, you get quite filthy feet ! The room flooring needs to be renovated.

Location of the hotel about 15 minute walk from Osaka Castle, subway within 5 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores very nearby.

Bathroom was a little outdated

Convenient location for visits to Kyoto, Nara, Kobo and Osaka. Clean and spacious. Facilities ok for self catering , an additional cooking pot would have been convenient.

First time stay here and satisfied of its easy-be-there location with nearby supermarket/convenient stores/restaurants. The reception staff is sincere to give every useful information for staying and touring. The spacious 'Studio Twin' is value for money for my short stay in Osaka and I would recommend to others.

Not exactly an unlike, but free wifi will add up its attraction to the occupant.

I would like to say it's really good on cost saving budgetary, eventhough the room is small comparing to other country but please don't forget that is Japan, for us stay in 3 rooms apartment c/w pantry kitchen & dining table, cooking tools & equipment, we feel comfortable vs to the money we pay. Walking to Osaka Castle & Osaka Park abt 15-20mins from apartment, you can know the lifestyle surrounding that area by walking around, lot of restaurant around the apartment also includes Japanase Food, Western Food, Coffee House etc. Subway station only abt less than 10 minites, very convenience specially 24 hrs Family Mart & 7-11 only next store. Reception can assist and provide you the map, landmarks where you wanna visit, main entrance also control by Magnetic Card, safe to stay in Weekly Mansion Osaka, next time will stay again if visit Osaka again.

Price is the main attraction, because Japan is an expensive place to visit. The Weekly Mansion is a chain of budget hotels that I have stayed in before in Tokyo, so I was prepared. The rooms are comparable to a Japanese business hotel in size (small!), but with some extra features: a cook-top with dishes, microwave, small refrigerator. You get a lan connection for internet, and your own shower/bathroom. It was helpful to have a coin laundry on the first floor. The Otemae location is within 2 blocks of the Tanimachi subway line, and therefore a short ride (10-12 minutes) to the Osaka/Umeda. The young staff at reception speaks English, and are glad to help.

Do not expect luxury at this price. The accomodations are clean and adequate for the traveler who just wants a place to sleep.

Value for money.

Rooms & facilities are clean but a bit old (guess due to wear & tear). Could do with a little refurbish.

Convenient and near the mrt station, but a little unknown and difficult to find on the first day. Several passerbys have not heard of this hotel.

Not very clean. The furnishing and utilities are rather old and over used. No room or cleaning service. The air blown from the air condition is not clean. We developed nasal congestion and sinusitis and flu after the trip. However, staff are helpful and courteous.
