Location! Easy to get to Kamakura by Enoden. A 711 is just beside the hotel
Room is Japanese typical tiny, especially the washroom.
Location, price,nice rooms
Breakfeast, choice between Japanese breakfeast or a boring Continental with wet scrambled eggs and boring white bread
Location near the station. Excellent customer service.
Room too small by American standards.
We couldn't find a hotel in Kamakura, and it was not too far from the main attractions (10' train from the Daibutsu)
Fujisawa around the hotel is not interesting. Hotel staff didn't speak English. The room was not really clean.
The single room is small. Compared with other Japanese hotels, it is not considered to be very clean. The facilities are not new.
Being close to family
Would appreciate it if the breakfast arrangement was printed in English and pointed out at check in to avoid embarrassment at breakfast.
Close to JR Station and therefore convenient alternative to Kamakura accomodation for people with JR Pass. Offer free bikes to ride within the area. Great espresso coffee - maybe the best I had in a Japanese hotel (I stayed in more than 10)
Breakfast (paid extra) could be better or for free. Otherwise, it is a bit above the price level for similar hotels
This hotel is near the Fujisawa train station and is easy to get to. It is also right next to a Seven Eleven store. The room was adequate but small but the bathroom was spacious with more countertop space than most. The breakfast buffet was varied and good.
Very nice staff. Very close to Fujisawa JR station is a good base to visit KAMAKURA. Room simple but clean and a good size for Japan standards.. Convenience store and shopping nearby.
Not far from the station. Staff we're very kind with smile.
The hotel was close to the station and restaurants. It had a buffet breakfast that was priced right. The hotel was quiet and very clean. The staff spoke very good English too.
The price is reasonable and there is available parking onsite. The location is very convenient to the Fujisawa Train and there is a multilevel shopping center with supermarket. The 7eleven next door is a great plus.
The description says it was built in 2012. However, its actually an OLD building that was renovated. The walking area around the bed and desk is very tight with barely enough room to pull the desk chair out. If this were located in Tokyo or Kawasaki, it would be acceptable. However..Fujisawa is a far distance from Tokyo, Yokosuka and all major landmarks. Although the price is affordable, its comparable with other Tokyo and Yokosuka hotels in this price range. The price needs to go down or the amenities like parking and breakfast should be included. I have been in Japan for 3 years and stayed in over a dozen hotels. My analysis is based on market comparison and not solely on opinion. Good hotel, but not good enough.
Location is excellent, near the train station and city center. Room was clean, rate reasonable and skincare samples plentiful. Reception staff were helpful with one particular one speaking exceptionally good English.
No particular complaints.
As first time travellers from England we found the hotel and staff excellent. Prior to travelling we checked the hotel's location on Google and had no difficulty in finding it. Would recommend this hotel especially for a short stay and would certainly stay again. We took advantage of the breakfast option - and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We tried - but couldn't think of anything.
The hotel was very convenient to the train station. It was great that they had free bicycle rental. Staff were friendly. Room was basic, but clean.
The first night there, guests in another room were very loud in the middle of the night. When I called the front desk about it, I'm fairly certain they didn't actually do anything about it. In the morning, the desk manager told me the guests were checking out, but didn't offer a discount or any other compensation for a lousy night of sleep. It was quiet the other nights, though.
