Just a 15-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Gion district, Yamamoto Ryokan provides simple accommodation in a traditional style. Rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon beds. Japanese cuisine is served. Each air-conditioned room at Ryokan Yamamoto has Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor cushions. An LCD TV is included, and bathrooms and toilets are shared. A 10-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station, the inn is a 5-minute walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo Train Station and a 3-minute walk from Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple. Sanjusangen-do Temple is 1 km away. Japanese breakfasts and dinners are available for a fee, as are a traditional multi-course Kaiseki dinner and a Sukiyaki dinner. Special dinners must be ordered at time of booking. Meals are served either at guests’ rooms or at the dining room, depending on the number of guests at the time. Very kind staff and very close to some important sightseeing spots. It has the needs, a tourist would expect by a ryokan. The fridge is a little bit too loud. I would not need a mini-bar, so a smaller fridge would be sufficient. And it is not so close to connections to the main railway station.

地点离清水五条地铁站很近，路口有一个药妆店很便宜，再走一段路就能到清水寺，总之地点满意。服务也很热情- ！还有一位能说中文的服务员。日式的体验，只可惜安排的房间偏高了些。很安静。 设施有点偏旧。

I would recommend this place only if you are on a budget. It's not really bad but it is more backpackers It is further away from Gion and Kiyumizu dera than advertised.
