The hotel is located close to asakushbashi station which makes city travel very convenient. The rooms are small but adequately furshined. I would recommend it for budget travelers and for short stay.
The hotel makes for a decent stay but the cleanliness could be improved.
The rooms are clean and quiet. There is also a coin laundry at the first floor. The place is less than a block from the asakusabashi station and there are some nice restaurants close from the bridge near the hotel, also a few small shrines.
The whole building is worn out. The main floor leaks when rains and the coin laundry too... The whole place turns a mess when it start raining . The dryer doesn't work very well so you have to invest money to dry your clothes. The rooms are small and look old. The TV is also tiny. Ventilation is a problem... The rooms have air conditioning but ventilation is not good. There are better places for the same price. The vending machines lacks of product variety.
Close to city center
Overpriced and not very good service.
It's really close to Asakusabashi station, which is close to Akihabara, Ueno, and Tokyo Stn so you can get around the city fairly easily. For the location, it's a good price.
The rooms are very small. There's just enough room for the bed, a mini-fridge, and a small desk, and the bathrooms are even smaller - uncomfortably small.
The wonderful staff, localization, service
small double beds (suitable for couples who like lying close to each other when they sleep)
Arrived at 7pm on a Saturday evening only to be told that one of our rooms had a plumbing fault and would not be available for an undefined time. Was provided with a 4 bed room instead of the 2 twin rooms we'd booked but was not offered any discount on total room charge. The room was noisy and had mosquitos as there was a window that could not be closed. Didn't get much sleep.
Very good customer service, very clean, and free wifi all over the building.
Staff were lovely Location was good - maybe out of the way for some but quiet, with lovely restaurants and only a short train ride away from Akihabara
The room was quite outdated, no duvet only a woolen blanket. Awful view from my room.
- You can reach by foot some main touristic spots, such as Akihabara or Asakusa - Metro, railway station and supermarkets are very near - You can use their umbrellas, electrical adaptors etc. free of charge (in other places you should buy them) - Staff in the reception is really nice and friendly!
- Old furniture, renovation is needed
Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The wi-fi is available on each floor, so signal in room was really strong. Room was cleaned every day. Very pleasant stay.
Smoking was allowed in corridors, even though I was lucky that there were not many smokers on my floor, I guess it could get smelly.
The accommodating staff and very value for money hotel
Room is a little squeezy
The location which is near the subway station and JR line...
The room is too economist.
Friendly and helpful staff that spoke enough English to help us. Quiet location and cozy room.
just one station to Akihabara. and you can find a lot of restaurant around the hotel. Nice staffs.
Bath room is not quite clean. If you stay more than one night, you may have a chance to found that your room did not clean up.
Too small space
Narrow room, hardly to call it a "double room". Even only one pair of slippers and one pillow. But still OK for one night stay.
Close to rail line and subway, and access to Narita was good. Good price for the location.
Hard pillows, doors that made too much noise when they closed.
Very nice neighborhood and very close to metro and JR station. The staff was very friendly and informative. Rooms are small so don't expect to have a lot of space for luggage. Good value for money and perfect for a low budget stay in Tokyo.
The location is good, close to JR station.
Room is very small.
Very helpful staff. Excellent when we needed advice on directions
Very small room
Less than 5min walk from JR Asakusabashi station, which is just one stop away from the JR yamanote line. Had the JR 7 day pass so this was an important consideration for me. Restaurants are open till late in the vicinity. Reception open till 1am, but should you wanna stay out later you get the main door keys anyway. Ensuite bathroom, good location and low price - this is pretty good value in Tokyo.
The room was small/basic and had what you need, but maybe just a little sprucing up could make this an even better stay. Good place to just lay your head for the night as there's not much space/ambience to hang around and relax.
Excellent location, close to subway n JR line. Nice food n interesting jobs nearby. Staff r friendly n helpful.
