Last minute, we booked this hotel because the cruise was delayed for one day. It was a place to stay for one night that was available.j
The bed was very uncomfortable. The bathtub looked old and stained. The front desk was going to charge to call up for a raxi
Convenient location and excellent rates! Would definitely stay there again.
The location was excellent.
An older hotel room. We didn't see that the AC was controlled by the night stand until the end of our stay.
Wifi worked fine Staff was friendly with holding bags
They asked for 40% more money, when I showed my reservation email with correct price it took a LONG time (no debate, just lots of waiting). Beds are really hard, pillows uselessly soft. Beds & room are poorly cleaned, even when specifically requested. People in other reviews say this is "big" for Japanese standards, but beware it is still only 16m2, and there is definitely NOT a full size bath (the tub is maybe 1.2m long)
Room was non smoking but could still smell smokers
Brilliant wifi, speed is about 30 megabits Right beside subway stop - very handy Convenience store is in the same building on the ground floor Neighbourhood is nice
Rooms a little bit small Location is away from Yokohama a little Carpets and decor a little bit worn
-The convenient store is inside the hotel - very near metro stop - near chinatown - nice view of Yokohama from my room
Nothing too bad...just the room and the structure is not so modern...the control sistem inside the room seems to have 20 years or similar!
Rooms are very small, beds and pillows unconfortable.
The rooms were spacious, especially compared to the age of the hotel and comparable hotels from the 80's. TV was upgraded and the AC worked (a plus in August in Japan)
The room was very dated. The carpet and paint was fresh, but the bedding and the matress were not. The matress was small and very lumpy (springs poking out). There was one very small pillow that was not comfortable. The bathroom was small and dingey. The walls were paper thin and every noise in the rooms around could be heard. If someone closed their door, the whole building shook. You could feel people walking down the hall. I woudl not want to be in this building during a large quake.
Lawson store in lobby
Slow wifi Rooms need to be refurnished
location, very near the bus and train station
Location, Stuff service is excellent.
Narrow width escalator. Entrance Automatic door slow response.
nice location great staff - we could only speak English and they tried so hard to help us. Really appreciate the English map of the town they got us. good breakfast nice view lovely rooms
great location, easy access to subways and a variety of restaurants. close to local attractions.
Excellent service, good location, nice and helpfull staff
small size of room
best location for tourist.
a bit outdated
Good location, right next to the subway stop. There's a 24/7 Lawson on the 1st floor. Cleaning staff were polite and cordial. Free TV and internet were very convenient. Bathrooms are slightly bigger than other "value" hotels I've been in around Tokyo.
I'm sure my situation is isolated, but when I was checking in, the staff were very avoidant. Either they didn't know any English, or were just too nervous, or both. I was smiling and was polite, but they barely spoke to me and smiled nervously or not at all. Even when I got my room card and clearly had trouble carrying all my heavy bags, none of them offered to help me carry them! Again, they weren't mean or outright rude - just avoidant. I will say that these were men. Whenever I spoke with the women front people, they actually spoke kindly to me and even made a good effort to speak English. Also, my room, while mostly clean and liveable, had visible tarnishes: the carpet had splatter stains, sheets had small holes and tiny stains, I could see a small hole with wires sticking out in my bed backboard...
Wifi now in rooms, huge plus!
Hotel is very near the train station and there is a convenience store at the first level.
We liked the television, the location of the hotel, e.g. the nearby park and close to the train station.
The room temperature was too hot, one of our rooms was smelly.
Stuffy room Unable to adjust air-conditioning Hard bed
- Good Location : 15mins walk from Kannai Station and very near shopping street. - All facilities are good, staffs are supportive and speaking English very well
I could smell smoking (little) in the non-smoking room
