Good service, very nice dinner and breakfast , good location
location is perfect. easy to find from the station comfortable to look around the village. their service was very nice. i felt well treated. breakfast and dinner were fabulous.
their pulic hot spring didn't have indoor shower faciliy. so when i went out from outdoor hot spring, i felt cold because i visited there in winter. but hot spring was really nice, well managed.
Well maintained little ryokan. Very impressed by the excellent service from the Manager Mr Susumu Aso to our dedicated attendant Ms Nagisa. Foodwise, this ryokan serves one of the best of the many ryokans I have stayed in. The standard of care and freshness of ingredient is reflective of the dedication of the kitchen staff. One of the bthe many ryokans. There is a English speaking staff at hand to attend to more complex queries. Location is within walking to a beautiful lake, eateries and shops. Also about 15 mins walk to train and bus stations.
the room was too warm during the night with heater
Excellant assistance from all the staff from arriving to leaving. Very high standard of accomodation - beautiful building and location. All hotspring onsens amazing, very well designing. Truely relaxing experiance. Food 1st class.
Could not find fault with anything!!
- room, bathroom, private hot spring - great food - great cosmetics, yukata and other stuff - very kind host - FINALLY someone speaking english well - nice, quite atmosphere
- we only stayed for 1 night
We felt like VIP the moment we step into the ryokan with the butler personalized service. The ryokan assigned a dedicated staff to attend to us for the 3 nights stay. Junko-San (hope I did not spell the name incorrectly) attended to our daily needs, meals, making our room to ensure it is always in good condition and our own private open bath water temperature is just nice. It's a great experience and I strongly recommend staying in this ryokan.
service is good and the staff are very nice. The food are delicious.
the private bathroom is rather small.
I like the butler-like service. The place has a staff to attend to us from the moment we checked in. She attended to our meals and was also interested to introduce us the places to spend for the day. I also like the private open air baths. The temperature of water is just right. We can lock the door and enjoy 40mins of private bath time.
The staff can speak English well, and are very friendly and helpful. We like the typical Janpanese enviroment very much.
Comfort, big and clean room. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Good location. Staff is very nice.
food and service are perfect
Excellent service, beautiful environment
It appears to be a family run hotel with only 11 rooms, everything is proper: 1. The distance: a good 10 minutes walk from the train/bus station (note: the best part of Yufuin is not around the station, but along the 1 km long folk street); 2. The location: close but not right in front of the charming folk street (70 meters); 3. The building and rooms are authentic Japanese style with traditional building and interior materials, the facilities are proper, particularly the two spacious family hot spring; 4. Good foods; 5. Lastly but also most importantly, the hospital and very presentable host. Shinna, the 23 year old girl is helping us during our 3 day stay there. She was trying very hard to let us feel home with her newly acquired Chinese and English...
not much, if we have to say something, the cafe room (public sitting room?) could be managed better with better furniture and self-service facilty...
Staff attitude is excellent and helpful
the ''real'' japanese Ryokan feeling
The staffs in Hiroharu are very warm and friendly. The food is good and the view is excellent. The place is very clean and cosy.
Not too far from station and a short walk you could see many shops. Very convinient.
