pressure from the reception to upgrade your booking and entice you with incentives-visit to executive club, free breakfast so as to almost convince/force the tired customer to accept the upgrading of rooms and to pay more. Ialso believe that the wifi internet should be free for customers paying for a suite

Exorbitant internet charges. Getting stuck in lift on two occasions. Noise from plant room on top of building: I was given a top floor room and when I asked to change it at about 2200 was told "that is a noisy floor" So why use it?

The staff were good, and always welcoming.

They misinformed me about the price at check-in, and said I could have an upgrade to an executive room for 130 usd, and I clarified this a few times before proceeding, even calculating my final total payment figure which they confirmed, then I upgraded. It turns out they got that very wrong, and that figure was per day. This means I ended up with a huge bill, which I was not happy about. Also, an agreed discount on the internet fees was not on the bill, and I was charged for an extra day. Unless I had spotted this myself, I would have had to pay all the extra.Staff at check-out did not seem to believe that I had been misinformed, and were not able to honour the agreement that your check- in staff had made with me. I was really very annoyed and upset at the unprofessionalism.

I'd like to its location, in city center

Fantastic location, even the building is a bit old but the unbeatable location still makes me recommend this hotel.

Everything about this stay was excellent. the room rate was really very very good i would recommend this Hotel to anyone needing to be in the center of Nairobi

This time nothing was pleasing. Your standards have come down.

Unfair billing, Traffic jam outside which prevents access to the Hotel easily. One wiats in ones taxi just outside the hotel for a long time

The location of the hotel and the silence inside compared to the noise outside

Firstly my room was flooded due to a burst water pipe, and secondly the tariff charged was considerably more than your price quoted.

The Hotel is old (over 40 years) and needs to be refurbished desparately. Also the city center is much more suited to business travellers.

It was a nice break from a long flight to come to Hilton and relax. The restaurant service was welcoming but it could speed up the service a little more. I was surprised to pay same price as in the States.
