Check in / check out was smooth. Staff very helpful. House keeping good. Hotel relatively quiet.
The furniture is a little old.
Great location , good service and the staff are really helpful and friendly
Transport arrangements to the airport!
Relative loud place Too much security around, which give you a feeling like you stay in a prison! Restaurant facilities not really appropiate; staff not good well trained as well! The Nairobi Serena Hotel is 3 times better and - although a little more expensive - provide much better value for money! The Nairobi Intercontinental is massive used Chinese tourist groups!
The food could be better
The hotel is too old
Club services incl wifi in room, breakfast and dinner in a quiet place.
Wifi is available in the room only against additional charges.

Welcome on arrival was ver professional.
The room, especially the shower in the bathroom needs to be modernized. The tv is also outdated .
It was spacious.
Facility in dining.
Location is excellent. The breakfast is pretty good as well. Rooms are good but for the price, they're not special.
The hotel is looking a little aged now. I was here 10 years ago and not much has changed since then. The hotel need a good revamp to bring it in line with other propoerties in the InterContinental group. I was a little dissapointed with Bhandini, again in past years it was really good and justified the hefty menu prices but this time it all looked a little old and the food was mediocre. We ordered some lamb kebabs and these seemed to be cooked from frozen and weren't completely cooked. The waiter was nice but didn't seem surprised when we complained. It certainly did not justify the 12k bill at the end.
the most i like is the restaurants and the laundry service
attendance and answers to the guest request take too long to be solved
Located in the heart of the city.
Hotel is rundown and I would opt for Kempinski or Sangkara next time.
They didn't accept room rate confirmed from booking.com (befand after 30 min arguing) tax rates was higher than what was written on booking.com
The staff were very helpful and even going out of their way to find out if We needed any additional things or help.
The swimming pool was a bit small. I would have preferred a larger one where one could swim laps in.
The staff is very friendly and professional. They are really willing to help. Take however note about they treat you when there is a party (see what I did not like ...)
The hotel is downtown Nairobi. That sounds good, but in fact it is only useful if you really need to be downtown. If not, stay away, because it may take hours to get to our from the hotel by taxi/car. Furthermore, the hotel seems to organize parties regularly on the sixth floor. I have experienced one, staying on the seventh floor, and was not amused. Extremely loud music till four o'clock in the night. When I complained at 0:45 at the reception, they pretended they had no clue that there was a party and told me they would do something about it. Result: louder music. When I complained again at 01:30, they told me it was almost finished. At 2:15 I was so mad that they offered me finally another room. For me a reason not to come back, especially because the reception staff must have known that there was a party when they put me in the specific room (I arrived when the party almost started).
Staff are friendly and helpful - especially the security attendants.
Food isn't great, the hotel is ageing and in need of a revamp. Had a late check out and was disgusted to realize that my room wasn't cleaned up when I returned at around 6:00pm. I had spent the whole day in meetings away from the premises and wanted to take a two hour rest before I could head to the airport as my flight to Johannesburg was scheduled at 10:45pm.
I liked the second room I got it was recently refurbished
I didn't like the initial room I was given, nothing like the pictures I saw the tv was from the 80s, room was tiny and I was charged an extra £150 because I didn't have the card I used to make the booking, customer service at the reception was rubbish apart from one lady by the name of Mary, I was also told breakfast was NOT included in my deal and had to pay to use wifi to show them my package deal, wifi was only free for one hour which I think was rediculous for the amount for money I paid for the room for the weekend, swimming pool was not clean, only one lift was working in the hotel and parking was limited I had to complain to get parking on the third floor and also lift was very slow and hardly worked in the parking area which was terrible for my fiancé as she is pregnant
Excellent Breakfast buffet free deal on booking.com; staff friendly and helpful; nice view over city; international channels on tv.
Wifi not working on my iPhone most of time it kept dropping out; Reception did not have information on our free breakfast deal and I had to retrieve it for them; no assistance with bags on arrival.
