Beautiful building, furnitures and garden, very clean, very very quite place and very nice management. A bit far to the centrum but this not a big problem, tuk tuk is easy and cheap option to go the centrum all the time.

We enjoyed the whole ambiance of the place..relaxed and loveled the decor. Not far from the beach or town. Breakfast was a little disjointed and not hot.

First, there's full value for money. As we entered those gates, what a beautiful sight we beheld. The place is an oasis and ideal for those who want to have a relaxing holiday. The entrance is beautiful, the staff welcoming and the owner, Cesare, would go to great lengths to ensure you are comfortable. Our room in itself was quite big- and we had access to a balcony of sorts which was neatly arranged with vintage furniture which ensured you had a place to rest whenever the rooms were too hot during the day. The staff- Gideon, Kristine and Nelly were friendly and treated us like royalty and we freely engaged with them in conversation. The food was entirely Italian Cuisine and neatly and expertly served. I could easily say I was on holiday in Italy! We came to have a relaxing time at Kenyan House and that's exactly what we had. Also, they have a beach at White Elephant where you could take the option of having your meals by the beach. White Elephant is an equally well-managed restaurant and beach. We enjoyed our 6 days at Kenyan House and are already planning to come back! For a non-smoking couple like us, I think smoking should be restricted to only on open places- and especially not at the table during breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Su richiesta comunque siamo riusciti a assaggiare alcuni piatti locali.

I was visiting friends in Malindi and stayed for 1 week in Kenyan House. It was a wonderful stay, it is an exceptionally pretty property, small and calm. The young Italian couple, Valentina and Cesare, who are running the place, make you feel like at home. Valentina joined each evening for dinner and all guests had nice joint converstaions. They got up with us at 1 am and 4 am at night, when we were picked by taxi to go to the airport, to make sure all is ok. Perfect for relaxing at the pool during the day or go for daily excursions to the beach etc, then come back in the evening to this really lovely atmosphere. The decoration is really beautiful, in particular on the large terrace. Dinner is served there in a classy atmosphere as if in a nice restaurant. You have a menu to choose from. The hotel is rather small and you quickly get to know the other people, forming a small community. Was a really nice atmosphere. It is a bit far off the center and a bit smaller than it appears on the pictures
