Firstly we were offered a different place to stay at which was in fact worse than the so called luxury room we were given. The place was dirty, mould in the bathroom which smelt bad all the time, dirty hotel slippers, holes in the towels, no cover on the mattress and stained sheets and pillow cases. In addition we got food poisoning the first time we ate at the hotel. We have the photos to demonstrate how bad the room was. Also, no Wi-Fi as advertised on booking.com. Do not stay here would be my advice.

The room was lovely

Waited 2 hours for my room,nobody expecting me owners out no member of staff able to deal with problem. Next day had problem, owners out again no member of staff able to deal it. Very tiny cramped place with 6 apartments no bar photographs very misleading gardens as big as a postage stamp, like staying as a guest in a family home. Ok if you dont mind the owners kids screaming a lot of the time. Have to order next meal whilst you are eating eg order dinner whilst eating lunch. Couldnt fault the cleanliness and room but dining area and rest of place nothing like the photos , owners ok when there but didnt feel welcome.

Marine Holiday House is a great place to stay. We booked a deluxe room, which was very spacious and had a private veranda where we had our breakfast/lunch/dinner served. Breakfast was included, and the rest of the meals had a reasonable price (500-1000 KSH per person, depending on what you order) and were very nice. The staff was very attentive, and helped us arrange transportation to Hell's Kitchen (Marafa depression), to Malindi town and to the airport. They also let us use the room much later than the official check-out time, as they didn't urgently need the room for other guests. The swimming pool was great, and the beach is at a 5-minute walk. I will definitely recommend this place.

I wish we could have stayed a bit longer than 2 nights -but unfortunately no more holidays left! If I had to say anything "negative", I would add the following: 1) As per the information written in the room, hot water is only available from 6:30pm to 7:30pm -which is not much. However, the owners told us they were flexible about this -you just need to ask. 2) We didn't use the fan in the room, because it didn't look very well fixed (there was some vibration).

Der 2. Teil der Strandferien im Dorado Resort hat uns sehr gefallen. Gute Bewirtung, sauber, gutes Essen

Wir haben statt 9 nur 2 Uebernachtungen gemacht. Resort selber wäre an und für sich ok,Lage aber schlecht, nicht wie versprochen am Meer.Management schlecht. Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig

Wir hatten ein Haus mit 2 Zimmer für uns - luxuriös eingerichtet. Ein gepflegter Pool inmitten einer fantastischen Gartenanlage. Wir waren begeistert.

La location e' bellissima,suggestiva e pulita. La cucina (alla carta) e' fantastica. Lo staff e' molto gentile ed educato e soprattutto I proprietari sono una coppia di giovani italiani straordinari sempre pronti a trovare una soluzione per ogni cosa.. La spiaggia del parco marino di Malindi e' a 100 metri dall'hotel,posizione incantevole. Il rapporto qualita' prezzo e' ottimo. Esperienza assolutamente da ripetere.
