Reef Hotel Mombasa  

The location is ok. That s it. The fares are far too expensive compared to the competitors and their standings...

The design of the room is old fashioned. No fridge in the room (a bite disappointing for a supposed 3 stars hotel), the fares are not worth and the food is very basic (apart if you like potatoes...)

I would say very bad fournitures old mobiliar and no wireless but the situation and beach are really gut up to what you like

Poor cuisine room without the necessities required by clients in today's hotel industry E.G. no internet facilities in the room, no stationery in the room, tv network limited to only a few channels bathrooms are in a very dilapidated condition

- Staff molto disponibile e amichevole - Buffet abbastanza vario e con piatti africani anche se un po` Colonial English come impostazione - Spettacoli serali piu` variati rispetto alla solita routine di Mombasa

- La palestra e` extra ed e` veramente molto vecchia e basica, senza nessun attrezzo cardio (cyclette etc)

mi e` piaciuta la vista sull`oceano e le piscine favolose di cui dispone. la cena e la colazione fornita non e` un gran che`.

La carta di credito Visa gold... non funzionava la macchinetta ?? e ho dovuto pagare in contanti 920 us dollari!!!! Le camere con vista su giardino fornite all`arrivo erano pessime e impossibili da utilizzare Ho pagato 15 euro di supplemento a testa per 3 persone x 4 giorni per poter dormire in un letto decente.

Uima-altaalla oli mukava ja rento tunnelma, illallisbuffet oli hyvä ja iltaohjelma viihdyttävää. Useat työntekijöistä ystävällisiä ja avuliaita.

Huone olisi voinut olla hieman siistimpi, oli vähän nuhruinen. Palvelu olisi voinut olla joidenkin työntekijöiden osalta hieman ystävällisempää ja kohteliaampaa (esim. jotkut henkilöt vastaanotossa ja jotkut tarjoilijat eivät ihan pistäneet parastaan saadakseen vieraan viihtymään).

Le jour du 31 decembre ,coupure d,eletricite toute la nuit dans notre chambre c,etait insuportable vu le coup de la chambre 400 dollars par nuit .question menage tous les jours il ya un type qui venait faire notre chambre a 18h. la nourriture toujour la meme chose .

Food was good and tasty. Fresh seafood.

It took 30 minutes to check in when no-one else was there. Booked a seaview room and ended up looking into a brick wall. They did change me to another room when I complained and then the airconditioner did not work, so then I got moved again. You have to rent a safe and fridge at additional costs. The tv never had any reception at all. Power went out at 9pm, so running on generators which could not supply enough power for the air conditioner. +30 deg temperatures all night. Had to sleep with the door and window open which then meant the mosquitos came in. Stay at the Voyager just up the road. For the extra 30 usd you get a whole lot more. I only stayed at the reef as the other place was fully booked.

“I call it a rat hole” We spent a night at Reef Hotel. The room which I booked was a deluxe and got a standard one. The shower was a nightmare. The towels are so old and ugly and on top smelly. The beds are really hard, hard, the A/C too noisy. On check-out day I was over charged two times as I did not know that they already charged my credit card b4 arrived!, the b/fast is basic & no much to choose.
