Closeness to the beach no harassment by the beach boys as there was adequate security fast and quick clearing during checkout

Upon complaining that my promised "Indian ocean view" consisted of a car park and water tank I was instantly upgraded to a superior room right on the beach which was absolutely perfect.

Our room facing the ocean is fantastic. We can see the waves, hear the winds, watch people, walk to the beach, have a swim,...

The lack of internet facility. In this day and age, internet should be easily accessible and free of charge. We bought 12 hours of use and had tremendous difficulty in accessing the internet. We had to give up and ask for a refund.

U could miss breakfast if u overslept

A very large hotel- and clubcomplex which is divided into several smaller area with separate buildings. Nice, big rooms and a OK bathroom. The bathroom needs a renovation although everything worked as it should. Very nice staff and the head-waiter took the very best care of us - and remembered us every day, even though there were a lot of other guests staying at the hotel. Situated in a quiet, lovely area but a bit far from downtown Mombasa, which really doesn't matter as there always were taxi outside the hotel ready to take you anywhere for a modest pay - and even to wait for you while you went shopping. Great people!

Recommend a renovation of the bath, but it didn't made the stay any worse.

Good location, nice pool

Overcharge for many things. Also, charge for some things that should be free such as usage of gym. Room service food is not worth it. We ordered a ham sandwich which contained the smallest ham I have ever seen. Breakfast closes too soon.

No airport shuttle service. Laundry service is very late.

The food variety was good though we don't eat beef and pork sausages so maybe you can provide chicken sausages for those sort of guests.the room was big.hotel is very clean!pools are nice.

You need to improve the way your staff treats people.especially at the reception area and maintenance.the rooms need maintenance.our rooms were made late,towels were replaced later on.and with a baby we were given a corner room on the ground floor after we argued for it.we had booked 12 days earlier but not happy with the location of our room.I Would not come back again.it turned out to be a depreSsing time compared to where we stayed earlier in the week.

Good location on the beach, near to range of restaurants, clean pool and comfortable room.

Old-fashioned rules, non-working internet, expensive spa, surly staff.

Excellent customer service at all customer facing points.

The food menu needs to be broadened to include local and continental dishes.

Понравился персонал, ОЧЕНЬ дружелюбные и приветливые люди, в комнатах чисто, до пляжа минута, комфортабельный отель.

Не понравилась еда, за те же деньги из тех же продуктов можно приготовить гораздо лучшуу пищу.

Не знаю будет ли мой отзыв адекватным или на эмоциях я опишу мой прекрасный отдых в Кении, но может кому-то поможет при выборе отеля. Начну непосредственно с самого отеля: 1. Отель очень понравился своим расположением, дружелюбным кенийским персоналом, очень вкусной и относительно российских кафе и ресторанов недорогой едой. Совет людям, которые любят вкусно покушать: смело идите в ресторан итальянской и индийской (очень все остро, но это особенность Индии) кухни. Главное с первого раза заказывайте немного, потому что нам на двоих вполне хватало съесть по супу и взять одно второе на двоих: порции просто огромные. Пробовала заказать что-то из детского меню, и у меня было искреннее удивление, когда я увидела порцию-хватило бы наесться здоровому половозрелому мужчине. Правда, для не умеющих долго ждать, придется набраться терпения. Видимо это тоже особенность менталитета. 2. Расположение отеля вполне удачное- от цента Момбасы км. 10. С мужем съездили пару раз на такси, не рискнули проехаться на общественном транспорте, но видели как другие туристы пользовались сеим чудом. 3. Отель зеленый, ухоженный, но детишкам по мягкому газону побегать не удастся, т.к персонал отеля не уделяет должного внимания травке. Можно сухой травой уколоть ногу, но это мелочь. Больше всего впечатлили макаки, живущие на территории отеля, периодически тырящие бананы и булки. 3. В отеле отдыхает очень много немцев, индийцев. Русских за все время пребывания не встретили вообще. 4. Мы с мужем ездили дикарями, экскурсии пришлось покупать на месте, точнее прямо на пляже. Было, конечно, боязно отдавать в никуда 100$, но когда сели в машину успокоились - на сафари с нами ездила пара немцев и голландцев. Кстати, по ценам с ними можно очень хорошо торговаться. 5. Хорошая анимация в отеле: программа повторяется только через неделю: выступали масаи, акробаты, национальные танцы, живая музыка, караоке (правда русского нет за не имением спроса). Но в отеле в основном пожилые пары, но это не проблема.

Пора бы сделать косметический ремонт, т.к. отель был построен в 86 году, но нам это нисколько отдых не испортило. Мелкие недочеты совсем не критичны. Может это мы непритязательные туристы?!

La posizione

Credo che almeno una persona alla reception, per ogni turno, con mentalitá europea, darebbe all'hotel maggiori possibilitá di soddisfare I clienti, visto che la maggiore parte di esasi provioene da paesi europei. A volte succede vhe per tanto che si provi a spiegare una cosa, non si riesce ad essere capiti per il semplice motivo che I sono modi di interpretare il servizio completamente diversi.

Zeer onvriendelijk personeel bij de ontvangst aan de receptie . Weinig animatie in hotel .

Meals were ok

The out if date rooms and furniture. The constant extra payments for services that are normally included in normal hotels. Eg charges for room safes (?), charges for any drink at dinner (tea!). The excessive taxi charges just coz you are a tourist. The calculations done by hand on your bill. We intended to stay a week but were gone in two days. Sorry, but for $180 a night I expected much better.

Great location, very good value. Omelet station at breakfast.

Half the lights in the room were burned out. Staff were slow, but courteous. While we were at breakfast they took our towels and didn't replace them. Stupid stuff. Breakfast was OK, but not great.

You need to improve the way your staff treats people. Especially at the reception area. Also the cashier wanted to over pay me demanding currency rate different. The room is a bit old & dirty, smoking comes from either a joining room or outside even I requested a non smokingone. Tv is not working properly. Food & beverage very costly Booking.com wrote to me the following “This spacious, air- conditioned room has a balcony with Indian Ocean views. Each has a bathtub and a shower”, however was given no balcony with Indian or Kenyan Ocean views!!
